YongYea is pretty good for news that only involves crapping on EA and Bethesda, lol. He also is a no-show in all of Sony's mistakes, suspiciously. He has real talent, but his fanboyism is a huge turn off. I got sick of his crap and unsubbed.

I can probably list more channels I UNsubbed from because I couldn't take the incessant fanboyism. I just can't handle the idiotic bias and their agendas being forced down your throat with every video. Or their little echo chambers trying to tell you "this is the best game" or "this game's graphics are the best," absolutely and completely ignoring games on other platforms.--Games they wouldn't know from a stick up their ass because they never have and never will play them. So best to just pretend they don't exist.

Offenders include YongYea, someone who has been mentioned multiple times. I hate his disgusting bias. He wouldn't make a video that shows Sony in a bad light to save his life. On the Xbox side of things, Dealer Gaming (who? exactly) is pretty much the same as Yong. And almost every Nintendo channel all seem to be drinking the same kool-aide. The biggest offender of them all is probably Kinda Funny Games, who goes out of their way to crap on one brand in particular, not to mention they can't keep their own insane politics out of their product or business.

    I watch a few.

The Act Man does very long, fun videos. He either does reviews or commentary videos on gaming in general. Either way, even when he’s reviewing a bad game, his videos are very positive and are good to watch when you’re feeling down.

Writing On Games, I find hard to describe. I’ll just say the first video I saw of his was on the importance of Blight Town in Dark Souls. That got your interest? He either does reviews or commentary on a particular game.

Outside XBox & Outside Xtra do silly lists and Let’s Plays. They’re great for escapism.

I watch YongYea for news. It seems most people here knows who he is.

I usually only watch Let's Plays when I'm unable to play the game itself, and when I do, it's either for tips and tricks or videos about funny moments in the games.

For game reviews, recently I discovered the Angry Joe Show. I like him a lot because he's angry. He also reminds me of one of my professors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9svSoRB2zk

I've mostly been watching Vinesauce at the moment, I find there's a good amount of variety to their streams.

I like to watch a verity of channels on gaming, I like Laymen Gaming https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwp...IFmiXHFk4XbLMA. A couple of Australian brothers that do gaming news and i find them fun and interesting.

I love Zero Punctuation as a game critic https://www.escapistmagazine.com/vid...ro-punctuation watched him for many years and he is equal parts interesting an funny in his reviews. If you have some extra hours to kill check out his and his friends Lets Drown Out play through of old boring games where they discuss gaming related topics while playing these awful turds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJNf...5LkXk-eGeFEr9I

And recently i have subscribed to Pewdiepie mostly for unrelated culture war issues but found that he is actually kinda fun in a raw unscripted family guy kinda way that i found honestly more fun than i though he would be. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-l...qxm24_Vd_AJ5Yw

For LPs I watch raocow, UnPlayedAThing and various Vtubers (Kizuna Ai etc.), sometimes a guy called RobinLSL when he LPs a new Touhou game, because he is really good at them, and I'm not, lol.
For news and stuff I watch Hot Takes (formerly Rerez 2) and RGT85.
I don't really watch serious reviews anymore, I've been playing so many games for so many years I don't really need full reviews.
Else I watch AVGN and Rerez.

I'm still sad that Super Best Friends Play retired their channel just a week ago. I've been watching their videos for over 7 years with their Shitstorm of Scariness series being an annual Halloween tradition for me.

For reviews/showcases I like Worth A Buy, ArchWarhammer and Rags when he can be bothered to do them - his reviews are really good.

I watch a lot of different let's players both on YouTube and Twitch. Sugawolf is my favourite - hysterically funny, heavily edited short highlight style videos and the occasional stream, but he doesn't upload very often. It depends what I'm in the mood for really, for VR stuff I like UpIsNotJump and MeLikeBigBoom. For indie stuff I like Splattercat, GrayStillPlays, IGP. I love watching Volx play pretty much anything, though he sticks to mainly Don't Starve these days. I'll probably get laughed at but I enjoy watching jacksepticeye, he makes me giggle often. Occasionally Irate Alex and Drunken Uncle will do a 7 Days to Die stream - those are always good for a laugh.

    I don't watch let's plays. I'd rather be playing.
I do watch play throughs if I'm stuck and need a little help.

For informational videos on mods and modding, it's Gopher, GamerPoets, Morrowind Modding Showcases and NcrVet.

For news: SidAlpha, YongYea, Jim Sterling and Pretty Good Gaming.

Game political commentary: The Quartering, Censored Gaming, The Top Hats and Champagne Bar and appabend.

Tech stuff: Digital Foundry, Gamers Nexus, JayzTwoCents and Linus Tech Tips.

I don't watch let's play only reviews and critiques, mainly Jim Sterling. I've also enjoyed some pc hardware videos.
I can't stand let's plays, because most of them now have a pointless face cam for their fake reactions.
Some of the let's plays I've seen in the past were unwatchable, I find it hard to watch when a person forces a burp and doesn't edit it out (even though their videos are heavily edited) or doesn't bother paying attention to what's happening then messes around for an episode while blaming everything else but they're own inability to play games.

I also can't watch streams of any videos where the person decides to eat and drink during them because they're normally pigs, it's also the constant shilling of terrible products and games.

I like to watch playthrough... Most of times, because I can't always justify buying the game. I also count how many times I skip a segment and then I base my review of their channel on that. Youtube also help me practice me listening, because I get spasm, whenever people talk a lot about little, looking at you Jeremy. :P
I prefer gamersnexus, because I feel like they're only trustworthy and legit channel, when it comes to computer hardware. MaxmoefoePokemon is entertaining, whether you like pokemon tcg, he just knows how to open them boosters.
Frizen is really good at editing highlights of OfflineTv and friends, I can't watch them live, because I live in EU and most of the time, they're boring.
OneyPlays is okay, I mostly put him on to be noise, I liked him more when he made animated videos.

Then there is MrBtongue, this man is the god of video games, he's opinion are sick, I learned so much of him, I could finally put words on why video games sucked. If I had the money to make a video game, I would hire him as a consultant. He just blows your mind, I watched his videos over 10 times, never skipped, hes fucking great.

Youtubers can have a sense of non professionalism and absolute rawness that makes them entertaining to watch, whether they are gamers or not. SovietWomble isn't an active user as much anymore, but he pumped out quite a lot of videos that had that 'this is also how I play games' tone to it for me. BasedMonster doesn't actually make videos per se, just highlights moments in FGC streams that are really entertaining to me. Speaking of the FGC, I really like Aris (Avoidingthepuddle) and Floejisan videos, mostly because they have the best reactions to the most inane shit.
