My PC was cutting edge the better part of a decade ago, but it's still stronger than a base PS4. Nowadays my PS4 is collecting dust and the Switch is my go to platform for any game that's on it. Being able to pick up a game, go anywhere with it, and put it down as needed is just too damn convenient. Not even nature's call can stop me playing.

In recent months I've been gaming primarily on my newly built gaming PC, but I also own the consoles from the big three console companies for their exclusives.

With the way things have been trending recently, especially with Sony, I've decided to push more into PC and away from consoles as much as I can.

PC all day everyday. I also have a PlayStation 4 Pro gathering dust until the next big exclusive comes out. I eye the Switch with envious eyes with every substantial exclusive that drops there, but I'm still not ready to pull the trigger. If Dragon Quest Builders 2 only comes out on Switch next year, that will definitely push me over the edge. I'm still playing the first game every now and then! As for the Xbox One, I don't have anything against it, but almost all of the games that were exclusive to it have eventually released on PC. Even Sunset Overdrive was recently released on PC, so I'm pretty sure that leaves just Halo 5, and I'm kinda over that series at this point. With Crackdown 3 arriving on both platforms next year, there's just nothing there for me.

The last couple of years I have been mainly Xbox One and casual PC, now I am using my laptop, the Xbox one and just got a PS4. Probably going to be asking a lot of questions as I haven't had a PS since PS3 came out years ago. Wish I could find someone to build me a gaming PC, but it's not in my budget right now.

Hey there. I think the 2080 is going to be a far superior card to the 1080s (I heard its about 30% better perf on-average than 1080ti, more tensor & cuda cores, more shader pipes, so better graphics and better ai training and crypto mining too ), but I don't plan to upgrade. My old 1080 hasn't really had a problem with any games yet, except for my own, and then only when I accidentally introduce a bug that draws like 100,000,000 explosions at once or some ridiculousness.

I think 2080 is going to be very future-proofed in terms of overall performance - its probably a good buy on those grounds alone. I wouldn't buy it for the realtime raytracing though. RTRT such a young art. There are all kinds of problems with performance and artifactation. I'd run it normally and wait for RTRT to mature for a few years while they work out the bugs. Besides... 30% faster than 1080ti is nothing to sneeze at!

*Edit*: When I say 'Going to be a far superior card", I mean that I've not tried a 2080 personally. I realize that they are already out. :P

I commend your dedication to the franchise. I gave up on the first week of that game. The only thing that would've brought me back, they looked at, smiled, and spit on (reach). I haven't played a halo game since.

Manly playing on Xbox One, playing a lot of Master Chief Collection trying too get back into competitive Halo. But the game still has annoying issues (Especially hit detection)

I've decided hopefully this month I will pick up a PS4 and try to migrate my Dark Souls collection over and acquire both Demons Souls and Bloodborne and just in time for Sekiro:Shadows Die Twice.

I am currently rotating between my Switch, my PS4, and my SNES. I usually play 2 or 3 games in rotation. Right now, those games are Let's Go Pikachu, Aladdin for SNES, and Yakuza Kiwami on PS4.

Primarily the Switch and my MacBook whenever I feel the urge to log into my WOW account. The Xbox has almost no games that interest me lately.
