Yeah, CoD sp games are awesome. It always baffled me that people praise the likes of Uncharted and God or War for being great, cinematic sp experiences... but completely ignore CoD for the same thing. I personally enjoyed Infinite Warfare and Black Ops III more than the aforementioned. I was an annual and happy CoD buyer ever year on day one... until BO4.--Still haven'[t played it.

I am always looking for good single player experiences. I miss the days when devs would actually try to be creative with their plotlines (to be fair they are becoming more common again, case in point being RDR2 and Metro dispite it being mediocre)

The things that I could say on this topic. I can't even because I'm hungover right now.

Was that the one with the squadron of space fighters?Originally posted by MadMummy76 View PostI just picked up Battlefield 1 for the single player mode, huge mistake, it is terrible.
Infinite Warfare however had one of the best campaigns I ever played, on some level it rivaled hell even surpassed Mass Effect.

Yeah I never cared much for single player in Battlefield.

Don't get me wrong OP. These games are well worth 30 dollars. Especially if you truly enjoy them. I was just trying to point out that the products are considered so disposable that if you wait long enough you'll find them in the "bargain bin".
Edit: Oh and Titanfall 2 is certainly one of the biggest tragedies of this era. I'm gonna have to go back and play that one again. The way that it was released alongside Battlefield 1 shows how incompetent EA really is. "Oh don't worry, ones a futuristic shooter and the other's historical. I doubt there'll be any fan-base overlap." SMHLast edited by The_Dirk_Diggler; 12-29-2018, 05:56 PM.

I always play the multiplayer so I'm not in exactly the same boat as you, but I always play the singleplayer regardless. I can't remember which one it was, Infinity War 1 or 2 I think. The one where you have your own carrier vessel and space fighter squadron, that was really really good. I remember the one with John Crichton from Farscape was good too.Originally posted by SnarkyJay View PostSo, Infinite Warfare is on sale on PSN for under $30, so I picked it up knowing I would never play the multiplayer. I have no interest in competitive shooters (except for Splatoon 1 and 2), and I usually pick up the CoD games when at a steep discount primarily for the single player campaign. I was wondering if there is anyone else on this board that does the same thing! I also played Titanfall 2, and Black Ops 3, and I enjoyed my time with the single player experiences they had on offer. Although they are short, they usually have incredible production value, and the action set pieces are fun to experience. Anyone else agree with me?

I used to pay full retail price for those. They weren't always bad single player games, you know.

I agree that $30 is a little high, but I was interested in the space combat in Infinite Warfare, so I sprung for it. I did get BLOPS 3 free on PSN+ as well. I think I got Battlefield 1 for $5 and Titanfall 2 for around $7. I was really impressed with Titanfall 2's single player. That time travel level was awesome! I may actually go back and play it again at some point.

I agree but usually I'd consider 30 dollars too expensive. I got Titanfall 2 for free when I bought Battlefield 1 last year. I got BLops 3 for free from PS plus. Infinite warfare I got for free with one of my PS4's. Aim low.
