Did you pre-order it early? Because everyone knew it was gonna suck as soon as the first beta footage hit Youtube. I purposely waited for tons of gameplay footage before even considering buying it because I started to doubt Bethesda's competency when Fallout 4 sucked so hard (yeah I said it, come at me bro).Originally posted by Aceman View PostI got to say that Fallout 76 is one strong contender for the title. I wasted 60 dollas in the game

Fallout 76 as a game is good, lot of controversy surrounding Bethesda handling the marketing associated to fallout 76 but that is another issue. The canvas bag, the nuka rum plastic bottle, the purely cosmetic atomic shop and its prices, the unconfirmed suspicions of lootboxes in the form of lunch boxes, etc. Wouldn't give it game of the year either, because it is not a great game but the point is that it is not the worst game of the year.
If I was gonna assign worst game released this year then I would say "Just Dance 2019". For a game that relies completely on dancing to songs, apparently you have to pay a subscription to get all the songs else you are stuck with I think 40(may be less than I remember) that aren't even good! How is this franchise still going!?

Not really. Things like a bag not being shipped or Bethesda's return policy doesn't exactly reflect on Fallout 76 as a game.
At this point, people are nitpicking at Bethesda just to hate. right now, people are pretending Fallout 76 is the only online game where cheaters and modders are being banned. People modding their game in a persistent mmo game and being banned for it... is a bad thing now! lol

I haven't played it because I knew Bethesda would fuck it up, but I would say Fallout 76.
Looking at gameplay videos, the game looks so janky controls and the amount of bugs would ruin just any experience. On top of that no NPC in a game where the rebuilding of civilization is a key theme of the universe and there are no NPCs to help enrich your universe. Fallout 76 is the first game I can think of that just ruined future installments in the franchise. I'll be surprised if anyone wants to buy bethesda games a week after release let alone day one. And I'm saying this as an Elder Scrolls fan, who was hyped for VI coming out but now I don't know if I even want to entertain the idea of getting it.

From what I played, Battlefield V. I did enjoy it at launch but it feels like the game went downhill.
From what I've seen from recorded footage or heard from friends, Fallout 76, I'm a huge Fallout fan, but decided not to get it as first footage came on youtube, looks like I dodged a bullet.Hail glorious anime thighs!

I've always hated Bethesda's games boring buggy messes the only reason to buy them is for the mods the community makes to finish the game but even that's not enough for me to play them.
I gave shit to people who kept thinking and saying that these games were good, but I guess it's now cool to hate Bethesda now even most of this is just bandwagon hate.

I didn't play a whole hell of a lot of 2018 releases, keeping that in mind, but the worst game of the year for me was Unravel Two. It wasn't a horrible game, but it has completely undone wheat made the first game special. The co-op wasn't implemented very well. The story was convoluted and just dumb. And the puzzles were simplistic."You can take the politics out of the forums, but you can't take the snowflakes out of the internet "
