Hopeless Wombat Well, if game developers are engaged only in earnings, then I suppose we ourselves need to solve these problems so that gamers are protected

Yes, we thought about it and took it into account in our software development.

Cheating is going to exist no matter what you or I do. It exists in pretty much every other industry as well. Just look at british comedian Jimmy Carr and his 'totally legal tax evasion'.

I say those who host servers and matchmaking have the responsibility to find and excise methods of cheating if they truly give a fuck.

On the flipside, it's lead to discoveries in game script and a whole category of speedrunning which I find entertaining enough. For me personally, it can be something of a contest winning out over someone who exploits glitches in a game. I played CoD WaW on the Wii, and everyone knew where the glitches were so it was a frantic mess in its own right trying to hold the good spots which was its own fun.

Cheating is always going to be around. Be it hacking into the game or abusing some kind of bug.

Heck, I even consider using mouse & keyboard on console cheating.

Alex The gamers have always wanted the cheating to stop ever since it started, and so have the game companies. The presence of cheaters right now disproves your opinion.

It looks good, hopefully it will work.
But again people will find a way, they always do.

If they keep updating it constantly I'm sure it'll hold them off.

Maybe I've become bitter in my "old age" or maybe it's with all the lies I've been told over the past few years by publishers and other gaming companies.

I do hope it works. It'll make online play more enjoyable.

The majority of people want to play with honest people, or I hope they do.

I believe that out of 350 million players there will be at least 1% of gamers who want to play with honest players where victory depends on your skill. And I hope that you support me with such an opinion.

Finally, SJW will be able to make an AI to pretend that a girl can play a FPS.

Maybe cheating will stop multiplayer arenas. This would mean much less fun for most, but for me, "much, much more".
