Cheating will never end. Because finding a crack in the system is more entertaining than any game.

And we are already in the age of practical AI, which can be used to do anything, like playing a game better than humans and emulating human behavior.

that is not true, fenrif. you might only be interested in trying to steer this convo into hardware sales, but if you look at their competitive multiplayer engagement numbers, those arent "low," and cheating is way down.

I’m wondering many players would support this kind of matchmaking for csgo, pubg or dota where it’s impossible to play with cheat? I wonder what you think about this? How much really to find support from gamers?

Alex I dont think they will go anywhere to be honest.
It's a game of cat and mouse. Developers do something that blocks the cheaters, the cheaters discover other way to do it, so on so forth

ethansito This can be stopped if the gamers themselves want it. It's my personal opinion.

fenrif Suppose if you see that there is an alternative to matchmaking, would you support such a development? After all, the game developers themselves, as practice shows, are not interested in them, they are focused on earning as much as possible and that’s all.

Including csgo, pubg, dota. Personally, I believe that this is due to the huge earnings of game developers, since the cheater can play quietly for up to half a year, but it will be banned but not immediately and after that the cheater will quietly buy a new account and continue to spoil the nerves of normal players who live by it. In fact, there are several solutions to this problem, but the developers do not seem to see that players always complain about this problem and I believe that today this problem is one of the most important in the world of eSports.

Cheating will never end, cheaters will always find a way.
    they can only be slowed.
cheaters should be forced to play against other cheaters.

Cheating in single player games is fine.

Microsoft has had cheating on it's consoles since the original Xbox. Cheating was rampant on the 360.

The only reason they wouldn't have cheating now is because their playerbase is so low.

Before matchmaking people could host their own servers. This was standard across all games. It allowed people to create communities, develop new mods, try out new maps. And most importantly: ban cheaters on sight. But you could also run a server where cheats were allowed. It was wonderful.

Then publishers and devs saw the money they could make with microtransactions and now playing online is a mess of lag, bad connections, cheaters, and nickle and diming.

I don't see an end to cheating, sadly. Microsoft on their Xbox servers specifically on their consoles seems to be the exception. But as they move more and more into the PC ecosystem and modern consoles start turning into first party "Steam boxes," I even see Microsoft's hold on anti-cheat disappearing soon. the modding and hacking scene in general is bigger and strong than it ever was before, and with that always comes the bad eggs than use their knowledge to cheat. Cheating is not going away.
