My purchases purely depend on how many interesting games are released. So It's not up to me to slow them down.

Well I will certainly buy much less PS4 games as I will only buy PS4 games now if they are exclusive, else I will get either the Swich or PC release, but if I buy less in general really depends on what is coming out, So far JRPG wise there isn't much announced for 2019 so I might buy less games this year. I have no interest the PS5 nor whatever stupid name MS gives their next Xbox.

Yeah, in general - but for me it's more about release window and not wanting to double dip multiple times. TLOU2 and Tsushima are unlikely to drop anytime before this holiday, for example, and if PS5 gets announced to release the following Spring - I will be more unlikely to purchase them on PS4. But, games earlier in the year, like MKII, I will be more prone to invest in I'm sure. When the itch is there, I usually scratch it - but I'm going to try not to.

Nothing's changing, if I want a game, I buy it.

The number of games I want may be decreasing, but that's a matter of personal interest, not some fear of my amazingly cheap entertainment investment getting cheaper or upgrades in the future.

I always wait on new consoles. I didn't get a ps3/ps4 until 2 years after each release. I just can't justify buying consoles at full price on release. The only game I've bought at full retail in the last few years is RDR2. The only one I plan on buying in the near future is The Last of Us 2, I wait for GOY's or good sales on everything else. I've got plenty of other systems and PC to keep me busy while waiting.

As you can probably tell by my profile pic, DMC V is a must buy for me. RE2 remake as well probably. Nothing else really catches my eye at this point, and I have a huge backlog to get through anyway. So yes, I think I’m slowing down (for now,) this year.

This year? lol. No. I've finally cycled my gaming schedule into a yearly thing that runs like clockwork to maximize play time, money spent and good games exposure. Aside from two, maybe three day one purchases, I'm saving everything for Black Friday.

I have a large backlog and not many new games to look forward to outside of Yoshi and the RE4 release on the switch. This year is probably going to be a lot of indie games coming to the switch physically and building up the retro collection for me.

I'm going to buy The last of us II for sure. Other than that I have no plans yet.

No, not really. The Switch is getting so many awesome game, and even if the PS 5 gets a lot of the stuff, I would still rather play such on the Switch anyway. If the PS 5 is 100% "true BC", I may hold off buying the few PS 4 exclusives I want, until I get a PS 5, otherwise nah, don't see a reason to really hold off on buying games.

No project interests me right now so yes, I'll be holding my purchases. Goes double for companies who are just losing touch and making terrible decisions.

                            What genres do you like?
