The best trailers

What are some of the best video game trailers that have been made. Trailers you go back to from time to time that you watch making the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, give you goose bumps, and just spark a primal NEED to play that game. A few games that elicit such a response from me would be both cinematic trailer for Fall of Cybertron, and the Assassin's Creed 3 official trailer just to name a few.

The Cyberpunk 2077 trailer that came out years ago is pretty cool. I've watched it a couple times mainly for the song.

Other than that... I was super hyped about Skyrim when it came out. I read everything I could about it and saw the trailer the weekend before the game was released.

All of the cinematic trailers for Witcher 3, I rewatch them a couple times a year on Youtube.

Honestly, Minecraft trailers are the bomb.

For some reason it's the DC Universe Online trailer for me, even though the game was basically trash.

The music direction of the Human Revolution trailer really makes it. It's a very Japanese trailer, that is shows loads of stuff and none of it actually happens in the story.
It's not the end of the world, but you can see it from here.

I never get tired of this trailer for Angel Stone. She's dark, sassy and kicks ass with style!

The 2 that come to mind are the Halo 2 announcement trailer and the trailer from the original WoW. There's been a few ones that got me hyped but those are 2 of the ones that gave me legitimate goosebumps watching them

The best trailers are the ones that stick to showing actual gameplay. I'm so over cinematic trailers that tell you nothing about the game. CG cutscenes are great and all, but they don't tell me anything about the actual game.

I agree to an extent. Personally, I like the initial reveal trailer to just cool visuals or whatever purely for building up the hype and letting us know the game is being worked on. Later trailers should have gameplay the closer they get to release.

If I want to view gameplay I watch a gameplay trailer Trailers are made to sell the idea of a game, and are often released far before the game is anywhere near complete enough to be shown directly.
