How unexcited are you for the next Call of Duty?

Black Ops 4 was pretty average, zombies and blackout are fun enough but the rampant microtransactions leave an awful taste in my mouth. If infinity ward releases a ghosts sequel I'm going to riot

CoD hasn't produced anything good since MW2. And even that game was sketchy as hell sometimes (Noobtubes, anyone?).

Last CoD I bought was BLOPS 1 on Xbox, enjoyed it bet never felt an urge to play after that, or I replay older ones (no elitist), so pretty much no excitement.

If they made a decent one-player mode I'd be happy, especially if it's a modern-ish setting with a cool enemy... but I still have nightmares of grenades raining down from the sky and enemy troops with super human reflexes and accuracy.

Contrary to what the haters think the series has some excellent campaigns to offer . Surely they're gonna give it a good shot this time around.... right?

Call of Duty 2 was the last one I enjoyed. I haven't bought a CoD game since then, and I'm certainly never going to again.

Call of duty just needs a major overhaul. The whole Black ops thing should have ended with BO2. It's just all got a bit ridiculous. They need a new setting and a new period for it take place in. Enough with the futuristic shite, been there done that. I was honestly surprised they did nothing in regards to WW1 what with it being 100 year anniversary. Even the Vietnam segments of BO1 i thought were really good, definately had potential i thought.

I haven't been excited for a CoD game since MW3 or Black Ops 2.

Blops 4 is fun, but the absence of a campaign is hard to shake off (even though not a single CoD this gen had a campaign that was worth more than one playthrough).

Whatever comes next will probably by fine, but not worthy of hype.

The next time I get legitimately excited for CoD, will be when they develop a game on a new engine.
