Anybody Have Trouble Finding Online Friends?

I have a hard time making friends with anyone who I haven't met face-to-face or at least spoken to through a VoiP with live video. Generally speaking I don't bother making the attempt, because people are unreliable.

Yeah, I have difficulty too. Although I'm playing a lot of single player games recently, I would love to change it up and play something like Destiny or Monster Hunter now and again, but I literally have no one to play with.

I didn't used to get on mic when I played online, but I do now (to no avail, mind you) to try and get acquainted with people.

Basically I'm on the same road as you, friend, and I could certainly use some other medium to meet new people.

PS I use PS4 so it might be a different case

I have friends I met through WoW.
We don't play much together because we all have a life now. We still talk regularly.

Find out who has the same games as you at work. Problem solved.

Alternatively, start playing D&D or MTG at a games shop.

It's my anxiety that usually prevents me from making online friends. Though I do have a few. I am getting better though. I can meet people and play for days or weeks, then it kicks in and you may never hear from me again.

Basically all the online friends I have right now I made during WoW. I still discord with them daily though we rarely play together anymore... Occasionally War Thunder or Monster Hunter but not often. It's harder now to make friends because people (on pc at least) often don't talk to each other in game any more. I... miss the golden age of WoW... I made friends who have lasted 10+ years because of it,
