  • Game recommendation/s Q.U.B.E and Q.U.B.E 2

Thinking about doing a full review on them, but I just binged both games and had time to think over them. General idea, if you like games like: The Turing Test, Firewatch, Portal, Tacoma, and The Witness (all of which are also awesome games BTW) then you'll love Q.U.B.E. and Q.U.B.E. 2 . They have some issues that'll bother some a little more then others. The second one learns from the first mistake and I managed all the way through them without a walkthrough so I'm personally happy (though walkthroughs do exist for these two). Grab them if you wish. They're even on good price.

I didn't even know there were 2, lol. I've played the one that was free with PS Plus a couple months ago and loved it. I was having serious cravings for a 3D puzzle game like the Portal games at that the time and that sated them for a bit.

But yeah, I enjoyed the one I played a lot. Great, whacky story; enjoyable dialogue; complex but reasonable puzzles. Great little game

I just checked out a gameplay video for these and they look amazing! A review would be cool. I have The Witness and really enjoy that one for the puzzles and incredible visual style.

Sure thing then. I'd be happy to do a review. I stumbled upon these two lovely games in my library and burned through both of them in about 4 hours. Loved them to death but I see some issues that might annoy some people. My game designer's perspective tells me where they chose incorrectly in a few areas and the subtle ways they improved on the second go. It's also interesting seeing the shift in the credits. You can get a lot of information on decisions made during production and WHY things turned out one way or another based on who's in the credits (and what order, sometimes). I'll be happy to get a review done soon.

The Witness is on a whole other level to anything else I've played. It's very hard to simply mention that game in the same breath as other first-person puzzle games or walking simulators. Pneuma: Breath of Life is one not yet mentioned here I thought I'd throw up. Not

To be honest, Q.U.B.E 2 would be a better hit for you then the original, if you're looking for it to be closer. The second one had more production value and was a bigger game. The mechanics were different in a way that kept the spirit of the original but changed it to provide a new experience. The result is something that will please most fans of the original while keeping them invested in a fresh take on both a story and mechanical different and more polished from the first. It also has a story a little more inline with The Witness, if you were looking for such a thing.

Hazza! I have developed something. What I would give to be paid to do this.
