I think my rarest piece is Shin Megami Tensei for the Super Famicom. Got it for about twenty bucks after trade ins at the local game shop. There's also Fatal Frames 1-3 which I got for about five bucks, never opened or came out of there wrapping.

I've got an original Japanese PS2 copy of Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. I also have Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (the 2-disc version that has MG1 and MG2 on the second disc as well as a bunch of funny bonus cut scenes). Unfortunately I bought that used and it's missing the manual, which bugs me since everything else is in very good shape. Rounding out the list, I also have Magna Carta: Tears of Blood with the artbook, and a physical US copy of Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus with all the extras. Shinovi Versus was only physically released in the US as a limited print collector's edition, and unopened copies go for $200 on Amazon right now.

I got the Grip Collector's edition. There are only 300 that were sold, and apparently an extra 200 held back or something. I don't really get it, but its pretty rare.

It's scratched up, non of them look deep, so I think its just a combination of minor scratches.

Sort of. It fetches a decently high price. IMO the box is pretty lame for it. Its pretty much the normal box with just a flat piece of shiny plastic glued on the front...But even that is pretty. Either way, its a nice piece even without the box.

Oh no! Is the disk just scratched, or is it maybe sun/moisture damage? If its scratches you might be able to buff it out.

At least you still have the joyful memories.

I bought the Diablo 3 collector's edition. That was the first and only collector's edition I have ever spent money on. I feel like it was a really bad investment. The USB-stick looks nice, but it's just a 2Gb USB-stick.

Probably some of my Mass Effect Lithographs, some only have 100 copies. My Metal gear solid bambaland exclusive REX is pretty rare as well, thing is freaking huge. I think my Russian exclusive Mass Effect 1 Steelbook is quite rare as well. My Polish Mass Effect 1 and Italian Mass Effect 3 collectors editions are rare as well, the ME3 one is numbered out if 1100 IIRC.

I have Zelda - Ocarina of Time on the Gold Cartridge, but I'm not sure if it's worth much since I don't have the box.
