  • What's the rarest piece in your collection?

I have an EB Games SNES Bundle that came with Super Mario World and Super Mario Paint along with the mousepad and mouse. That set me back about $280 The Bundle pictured below has a better box than mine, but this is just so you guys could see what I got.

My SNES contents are all in just as good condition.

Gads, I look at this and am struck with the nostalgia of opening my first NES - I saved my money for months to play Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt on my very own Nintendo.

Mirrors Edge Spain Exclusive Steelbook, There are only 1000 of these

Forum about Collector Editions, Limited Editions, Game Collectibles, Statues, OST's

In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very unhappy and has widely been seen as a bad move.

Very cool. Always liked Mirror's Edge, had it on PS3 when it was new. Recently got it again for Xbox so I could play it BC. Pretty fond of steelbooks.

I have one of the 7 Faria(NES) mailin order only maps, it's such a high quality map too I just wish I had a factory sealed Faria, and a Faria Vidpro Card to go along with it, I would have a custom display made for it all, it would be awesome

I've had a few chances to get a Faria Vidpro card, but sadly It's always in a insanely overviced lot listing. Haven't seen a factory sealed Faria that wasn't PSA graded sadly though.

I got the collectors editon for Fire Emblem Tokyo Mirage sessions for christmas. It's not in the best condition but the box is mostly intact and the box art and the artbook are real eye candy
I'm crawling deeper and deeper into backlog hell

I checked eBay and I guess the stuff I have is not very rare: Atari 2600, Commodore 64, and Commodore 128 with all the cables, etc. I have some rare pen and paper RPG stuff but that's a different thread.

Thanks. SNES is my fav console. I'm still looking to get some other games like Super Castlevania IV, Contra III, Super R-Type and F-Zero.

Well, I do have Magna Carta: Tears of Blood. It comes in a box with a double sided poster and a booklet that's one part art gallery, one part strategy guide. I also have the Metroid Prime Trilogy in a Steelbook case. Not sure how rare either of those are, but I knew I had to get both when I saw them since I was sure I'd never see them again.

Oh, I also have the AO version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the original X Box.

Metroid Prime Trilogy if the steelbook is in good condition fetches around $30-$50
If is sealed and mint, around $125-$150

I don't really know, I have a loose PAL copy of Hagane which apparently is kinda rare.
I mean i have over 1000 original physical games so there is certainly something among that is rare today. I guess as they were never released in the US my PAL PS2 copies of the 1st 2 Earth Defense Force games called Monster Attack and Global Defence Force (yes with a c), also the very bad Global Defence Force Tactics (it's exactly what it sounds like), could be considered rare?

I don't have anything I'd really consider rare. I've got some vita games that are a little hard to get now, that's probably it.

It's not exactly a game but it is game related. I have one of those 1:1 Gabranth helmets from Final Fantasy XII. It's my favorite piece of art I've ever purchased.

In terms of games...probably Steel Battalion with Controller.

I wish I had enough space in my flat to own one of those.

I don't have any of my physical NES or SNES games anymore. My rarest stuff in my collection is probably a lot of my PS1 RPGs. Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean 2, Vanguard Bandits, Brigandine, Saga Frontier, Lunar 1 & 2. Some of those go for hundreds of dollars online now.
