    You 5??
yyyyyeah no , not buying it , Division was never exceptional to begin with , same looter shooter , different setting.

Absolutely not , there are great games that I don't like , and silly games that I love.

What ever will I do without my 400th ubisoft open world game? I can't live another day without opening a launcher to buy a game that opens a launcher to launch the game.

It is just a bad warframe/destiny clone.

I said that because alot of devs are creating their own store/launcher to avoid steam's refund policy like Bethesda and there's been alot of nefarious shit going on, it's making me look at everything sideways when it comes to gaming companies. It seems some are doing it to avoid steam's higher cut of sales.

Well, I'm hoping it's a timed exclusive thing. Because games being exclusive to certain services is no different than console exclusive games. At least when it happens there, they have the excuse of the games being developed in-house and are made specifically for said console. So unless the games are made by the owner of the online store, I don't think any third party game should be exclusive to anything. My humble opinion anyway, which I'm sure no one listens to.

I am willing to give Epic the benefit of the doubt for now as the store is new territory for them. That doesn't excuse data leaks but I can understand how it happened. Not to mention the store has been improving as well. The refund system for example is far better then what was originally planned.

If Steam is DRM what do you think Uplay is? You don't get the game on Epic anymore than you could have gotten it on Steam, you get the privilege of downloading it via Epic then logging in to Uplay to play it, On Console you get a unified friends list, on PC we had this finally and now publishers got greedy and all wanted their own pie so they made un-user friendly platforms that are janky and broken and every time we turn around we have to start generating an entirely new friends list to play online. Epic is the worst platform yet, it offers zero support and piggy backs off of what steam built so their users can actually get help when they have issues, not to mention that since I've been using Epic Launcher (which I only used for Unreal Engine dev because Fortnite is a terrible game) user data has been released to the public several times, yet again just over a week ago.

I'm all for competition, but being exclusive to a launcher is not competition.

Division 2 was on shaky ground already due to the first one being an overhyped bore, this really hurts any chance of PC gamers buying the sequel.

You guys can pretend that all of these launchers are not a big deal all you want but you're not understanding the seriousness of the situation. If support for a launcher goes away, so do all of the games you've purchased through them.

It's easy to passively install and run a launcher that takes up no more than 1GB on your HD or SSD when people are working with several TB's worth of space at this point. What's not easy is spending upwards of hundreds of dollars from a launcher to then lose all of the games you've paid for.
