Probably comparing it as being a loot shooter to those games also being loot shooters, not the story/world being a clone.

How in the world is it a Warframe/Destiny clone of all things? Never mind the two games being vaguely similar at best, how is it a clone of them?Originally posted by AvalonArt View PostBtw , does nobody think Division 2 is extremely overrated ? :/
It is just a bad warframe/destiny clone.Last edited by DragonLewd; 01-20-2019, 03:58 PM. Reason: *edited to include quote from relevant comment

The Division 2 set to skip Steam and launch on the Epic Store
Me: "I am set to skip Division 2 and play something else" :^)
It's is not because of having another launcher , I don't like it coz I can't pay , Steam allows me to pay using domestic payment options.
Lord Gabe was not lying when he said , piracy is a problem of non-availability.

Why you think so? Just curious because I remember hearing about anti-consumer from steam as well. I remember when steam refund was just a word that didn't mean a thing in some countries until they got sued, and lost.
I do agree that Steam > Epic launcher (for now) due to what it offers, but I think you are ruling Epic store way to early.

Epic store and everything concerning it is purely 100% anti-consumer. If you really want to play the Division, buy it directly from uplay and play it via their own launcher.

I don't mind multiple launchers and honestly can't really comprehend the whole situation of not wanting to have more than one launcher really. Competition is always good and it's not like you have to have them all open all the time. apart for Ubisoft games on steam with Uplay but that I don't like it either.

I don't get what all the fuss is about. The only thing I care about, when it comes to the epic launcher, is the lack of user reviews. I'm guessing most people have at least 2-3 launchers already. I started gaming with CDs, launchers are unnecessary and come and go. Its about time Steam had a serious competitor. We have Discord (X-Fire 2.0) to use as a chat platform now, if they add in game-joining tools, steam friends will have a decent alternative. Its nice to have a single place for everything, but you need competition to keep platform developers from getting lazy.
Hit the windows key, start typing the name of the game you want to play and hit enter. 10 times faster than using any launcher.

People like Steam because they have a friendly consumer policy when it comes to refunds. Does the Epic store have the same policy? Can you return the game after you have tried it, if you would like to?

Nope, I am not that concerned about X number of launchers. I set them to not activate when I launch windows and open the one I need, when I need it. This obsession with using only one launcher is ridiculous, in my opinion. Steam is really good, Epic is new...give it time and just use launcher that has the game you want to play. If the game will be cheaper on Epic, I will buy it there.

Looks like I'll be skipping The Division 2 then.
I'm not downloading a 53rd games launcher. I'm sick of it.
