For me, two games are like that: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild. Several hours will pass by and I won't even notice and I'll still be wanting to play more as I begrudgingly stop playing to do something more productive.

Not many games suck me in. But the two that did was Final Fantasy 14 Online: Storm Blood, and White Knight Chronicles 2, I was in one of the top 5 Guilds that a friend of mine made. Never found a game that hooked me like WKC2 did for me."Draw from your past, but do not let your past draw from you." Bra'tac

I get that way when I start a new character in an Elder Scrolls or Fallout game. Something about a fresh character with
a new build idea is compelling, almost like a blank slate for a brand new adventure.
Also, I used to lose track of time in a very serious way when playing Payday 2 or killing floor. We had a regular crew so
it was easy to lose track of time and suddenly realize it was four in the morning.

I've played The Witcher 3, The Mass Effect Trilogy, Final Fantasy 7, Metal Gear Solid franchise and Persona 5 far to much, lost count of the hours I've sunk into those games.
Also the Mirrors Edge/Catalyst speed runs and time trials we soooo addictive, I got top 50 in the world in some speed runs when I was addicted, lots of cheaters/glitchers in those games though, and EA never seemed to do anything about it, even when the top time was something stupid like 0.1 seconds for a 3-4 minute speed run.
Also exploring the galaxy in Elite Dangerous, that can be a massive time hog. I was halfway to Sagittarius A* when I last played, I want to get my new setup in the garage sorted with triple monitors, head tracking and voice attack sorted before I get back into that game.Last edited by Tech_0ne; 12-12-2018, 05:09 AM."it was the daedric prince of douchebaggery in disguise"

Team Fortress 2. Discovered it through dumb Garry's Mod videos and then recognized the Heavy on the Orange Box's cover in a Target. Got the Orange Box in 2010 (the 360 version, but I quickly realized the PC version was superior despite being a console pleb) and have been playing ever since. It was the gateway to PC master race and is perhaps the easiest game for me to return to. Sometimes I don't play it for a while then I relapse and come back to it even if there are no new patches, a very rare occurrence for the game these days. Valve... oh, how the mighty have fallen.

There are 3 IPs that always suck me in completely. The Thief series (not including 4), The Deus Ex series, and the Souls series. For example, I own 4 copies of Deus Ex Human Revolution. Mac, PS3, Xbox 360, and my Wii U copy arrived yesterday. Whenever I play a Deus Ex game, I need to hack every computer, explore every vent, knock out every bad guy, finish every quest, pick up every item, etc. I've probably beaten the game 15+ times. I started playing my Wii U version last night, and I'm sucked in again. I'm actually forcing myself to play a different play style this time. I'm using a mix of lethal and non lethal weapons, and I am even ghosting some areas and leaving enemies alive behind me. This is completely different than every other time I have played before, and I'm still having a blast. I especially love the Wii U gamepad integration, even if the sniping took some getting used to. Same goes for Thief and the Souls games. I can pick up any of those games any day, and play for hours and hours at a time.

The entire X series from Egosoft, starting with X: Beyond the Frontier (1999) all the way up to the current X4: Foundations (2018). Deep, complex games with a steep learning curve, but once you're hooked say goodbye to sleeping. Favourite one of the series - X3: Albion Prelude.
Also Grim Dawn. I played the hell out of Titan Quest and Titan Quest: Immortal Throne and now Grim Dawn has its claws into me, I can't stop playing it! I think I'm getting delirious from sleep deprivation, but it's so worth it!
