What's the worst game you've ever played?

It doesn't have to be funny either, like any terrible game even if it made physically ill to play. I've played some really terrible games before like Happy Feet and The Polar Express on the Gamecube. However the worst game so far I've played was AMOK on Steam. The game only has handful of graphical options consisting of worse, terrible and garbage. Really this game looks awful, it's really blurry no matter what resolution and runs poorly even on a decent machine. Then if you get past the visuals, the game is utterly broken. At the beginning you get inside this mansion, however if you try to leave you phase through the door and fall to your death. However if that wasn't bad enough, button prompts don't show up, so it becomes a guessing game on which key does what and good luck looking at the control menu for help, some of the keys aren't even listed in there. To save you from anymore boredom, the game consisted of mix match of empty aimless world, a out of place FPS section, and absolutely no coherent story. Sadly I seriously payed for this even if it was only a few cents.

Prisoner of War on OG xbox, and Mario Sunshine, both I returned the same day I bought them. Have not done that since. I also research any game I buy... well besides GTA, I am a fanboy of that series.

My worst game must be spider man 2 --- For PC.. What a mess, dont think alot of people actually played that one. Felt cheated that everyone said Spiderman 2 was great, but no one said that pc version was not the same game as ps2. By todays standard its like a unity asset flip from Activision:P

Assassin's Creed Unity, which I actually didn't play because the game crashed so much. It killed the franchise to me.

Bubsy 2 on Sega. All platform games are terrible. Some slightly worse than the other.

Overall the worst game I've played that cost money was probably "For Honor". It was very disappointing and became relatively mundane after the first few matches.

C&C 4 for sure. I felt real depression after playing it. I spent my childhood playing C&C games and enjoyed all of them it was my favorite franchise at the time until I got my hands on 4.

PUBG, no contest. I only played it because it was a gift from a friend who jumped on the bandwagon influenced by Twitch streamers, and he really, really wanted to play it with me (he ended up giving up a few weeks after me), but the game is so poorly made. Even if we forget about the fact that it barely runs, doesn't load terrain it should first, horrible netcode etc. the gameplay is boring as fuck. The map was so big it was mostly a hiking simulator for 30 minutes at a time with only a minute or two of actual game when you run into someone. Unless your land in a popular area, in which case odds are you'll get killed through no fault of your own, but simply because of the numbers. You could take out 5 people, but still get killed after the main firefight by someone from behind because you have no health left or got jumped on, and then it's back to the menu with the horrible loading times and hoping that the game loads propely aga- OH LOOK, YOU CAN'T IGNORE THE SHIT OPTIMIZATION AFTER ALL.

Then (fortunately I gave up on this atrocity long before any of this) add to all of that that they chose to focus on lootboxes and manipulating their odds (I think some items were like 0.001% or something), tournaments while still in beta (for a Battle Royale game, where some guy won by being hidden in rocks and healing. Truly a competitive game), trying to sue Epic for 'stealing' their idea (as if battle royale was original to begin with), except making it actually function, then ripping off the Battle Pass system themselves (which I know existed before Fortnite), somehow even less functinal ports, etc. Instead of actually fixing the god damn game, and you got the perfect disaster and one of the worst games ever made.

Not sure if it was the absolute worst I've ever played, but in 1990 I walked into a computer store, intent on buying the new Zealand story for c64. It just so happened they had an amiga running the game wild streets sitting on a desk, and it looked awesome, I did not get to play it and I had little time so I made the horrible decision to pick it up for my 64. That was the last game I ever bought for c64 and soon after I sold the system to get money for a pc, possibly my first buyers remorse experience.

By far the worse game I have played what Bujingai the Forgotten city for PS2. My buddies and I lose 3 days on the last level on stupid jump puzzle. IT was designed so crappy that between 6 people and 3 days of trying did we finally get the last jump.. By the end all wanted to do is snap the disc and curse it for all eternity. Ohh good the flash backs....

Worst game ever hands down has to be Rogue Warrior published by Bethesda. Probably the worst shooter that I ever play. I couldn’t passed the first level because it was garbage, especially in a time when there wa exxagerated amount of shooters.

It's not the worst game I have ever played, but I was really disappointed with Assassin's Creed Unity. The gameplay itself wasn't horrible, but the damn thing crashed my PS4 about 25 times. Unacceptable, considering I bought it only a few months ago, so they had plenty of time to patch it. I recently picked up AC: Syndicate, and I like it leaps and bounds more than Unity. With that being said, it's hard to pick a "worst" game, because there are many aspects to gaming. Is the gameplay bad, the story terrible, or is it just broken? Various games meet different criteria so it's hard to isolate one as the absolute worst. Bubsy 3D is pretty terrible all around, but I'm sure there are worse games out there.

I really liked Andromeda. To be fair, I picked it up after it was patched, and I only paid about $8. I liked it enough to play through it a second time. I thought the combat was a huge improvement over the original trilogy, and I like the original trilogy. The addition of the jump jets really added a lot to the gameplay.
Working...
