- Games where you are the bad guy.
- Sports and Racing games, the exception being Mario Kart,

I'm not really a fan of Sports games, Flight Simulators, or RTS games (though small group tactics, like Mutant Year Zero, Shadow Tactics, etc. are fun). Also, any kind of PVP game is instantly on my "no thank you" list, as I don't enjoy fighting other players. Not really a fan of computer card games, though I played "Hand of Fate" and that was fun.

I'm pretty experimental with my game options, giving most things a chance, and I've discovered some amazing games that way; "Inside" and "Shadow Tactics" were games I bought on a whim, outside my usual comfort zone, and they are now in my 'instant recommendation' list. Indeed, discovering genres through experimentation has made me fans of game styles I didn't even know existed previously. "Shadow Tactics" was a game style I had never even heard of prior to playing the title, unless you count small tactics games like "Dawn of War 2" in that genre, so I didn't know what to expect, but the game was so beautifully crafted and so much fun, that I became a fan of the genre and now it's one I follow for new releases.

As such, I try not to outright reject any possibility, as you can find great games where you least expect them.

Any horror game. I once watched someone "let's play" about half of Resident Evil 8, that's about the closest I'll probably come.

mostly sports and racing games with a realistic approach. i prefer stuff more along the lines of crash team racing or mario tennis.

or rocket league if you want both.
