    Obviously I'm not going to respond to all that, the thread is off topic as it is and the mods are trying to get it back on track.

    Ok. Let's find a middle ground.

    Bethesda historically made games which were a mix of talent, and buggy bad programming. Their games were always fun and successful despite being plagued with bugs. We agree on that?

    Then SOME people left Bethesda, and SOME people keep working at Bethesda.

    My point, which is MY opinion, is that the ones which left are the ones that have the talent.

    After creating the Fallout series, they moved to another company, and they are now creating Outer Worlds.

    YOUR OPINION is that the ones left at Bethesda are the ones with the talent. The ones who made Fallout 76.

    Ok. That's YOUR opinion. I have no problem with you having an opinion. You are entitled to have an opinion. Happy?

    I wrote this thing that bothers you

    So, don’t expect Bethesda to correct itself. It is not going to happen. It is a different company, with different people, and different values.
    If you want good games, follow the programmers, not the companies.
    What I was saying, and what I had on mind, is MY opinion that

    What I wrote should be understood in the context

    The context is
    : the person who opened the thread titled "Anybody else stumped by Bethesda suddenly losing the plot?"

    So, the context, is Damian Cunliffe asking for "theories on how a company with so much experience and so many iconic games can totally lose the plot overnight"

    THAT'S what we were arguing about.

    Do you get it?

    Obviously, you dind't get it, so I didn't bothered to answer you, because your intervention was totally out of context, and you didn't even understood what we were talking about.

    I have no problem with that. You can hold your opinion. So live and let live. Don't keep harassing me on every thread, posting again and again the same thing, exactly the same thing, even multiple times on this thread, turning it into an off topic, and calling me names.

    @Troll
    Citing SOME programmers doens't prove ALL the programmers.
    SOME programmers, is not the talented ones.
    You miss my point, and you childishly harass me again and again with the same buthurth on every thread.

  • Aidy

    And the programmers are still there. As I proved.

    @Troll I said "the people who made Fallout", which are Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, both no more working at bethesda.

    Citing other bethesda employees, good for nothing, doesn't prove anything.
    Citing people who worked on derivative games, like Fallout 76 doesn't prove that people had the talent of the creators of the game.

    My point was "If you want good games, follow the programmers, not the companies."

    And there is no need to insult other people just because the leftover at bethesda are incompetent.

    You said the people that made Fallout. I found out who worked on it, chose the senior people in prominent roles and the people in programming roles, found out where they work now. And you were wrong. It's all there in the thread, I was perfectly transparent.

  • xadu

    @troll
    I never said that everybody working at bethesda left. I said that the talent left.
    To deny what I said, you should probe that all the talent remains at bethesda, that they have any talent at all, and nobody left.
    So you didn't disproved anything I said, and you didn't proved anything you said.

    You are a troll because you are always insulting and mistreating people which does not agree with you.

    You are always triggered by any criticism to the incompetent leftover at bethesda, which are baseline trash as programmers.

    xadu I researched the people who worked on Fallout as they were the people you talked about.

    Don't let this stop you posting lies though, if someone calls you out on them and you can't back them up just call that person a troll.

    @Thomas_JCG
    But most of the bugs of fallout 76 are not "new features", but amateur errors, as NPC models rotated 90 degrees, moving without animations, bad use of the physics engine (which belongs to Microsoft, and works well on a lot of other games), objects at the wrong scale. That's the kind of bugs made by people learning to program 3D.

    I gave proof that the creators of the Fallout series moved to obsidian.

    You posted SOME employees that still work at Bethesda as if it were a proof that the creators of fallout didn't left Bethesda.

    So

    -You lied.
    -You fail at logic.
    -You fail at reading, because I already explained that.
    -You aren't smart enough to understand simple concepts.
    -You fail at providing evidence that my statements were "completely untrue".

    So you must be really bad at programming if you program at all (we can't verify any of your claims), because you fail at reading and understanding, which is essential to code, and also any programmer would understand what I said about engines.

    You are just a troll insulting people and looking for fights all the time.
