Whatever fighting game I know there will be steep learning curve, I must ask though, why single out Tekken for difficulty?

I would recommend Dirt Rally (https://store.steampowered.com/app/310560/DiRT_Rally/) - it is pretty versatile game that can be had for as low as 5 euros (if you put it on wishlist and wait for sale, there is one about once in every 2 months)

1: For fighting games, what everyone has listed above is great. For good stuff that is popular now, check out Dragonball Fighterz and Smash Ultimate. Those games will be around for the long haul.
2: Forza is the dominant game in this genre right now. If you want former bad ass racing games, go burnout.

The Persona fighting games that are a sort of sequel to P3 and P4 are pretty good fighters, and they have a lot of story telling, if you like stories.

Tekken, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter.
Multiplayer is going to kick you out of your comfort zone pretty quick haha

If you want a good racing game, my personal favourite will always be the two NFSU games. If you want something more recent I'd recommend either NFS Hot pursuit 2010 if you want just the racing part or one of Track Mania games if you want some track designing as well.

If you REALLY want to get out of your comfort zone, I'd suggest Tekken 7. But be warned, it has a steep learning curve and you WILL get beaten a lot.
