I've had several video game character crushes, especially when I was younger. My very first real video game crush is a bit of a deep cut these days. I'm not sure how many people here would remember an old SNK fighting game called Samurai Shodown. There was a character named Nakoruru that just stole my heart when I was a kid. For years I loved that character, still kind of do even today. She's been in KOFXIV recently so that was always nice to see.

Futaba, Ann, Hifumi, Makoto, Haru, Takemi and Chihaya in Persona 5 which has a funny valentine days scene. Liara and Miranda from Mass Effect and in my one save file for stardew valley I'm married to Haley with 2 kids

In Mass Effect I had a lesbian crush on Tali but the game wouldn't let me romance her with FemShep so I had to date Liara instead. Thankfully Liara is a fantastic love interest but Tali remains my unrequited lesbian crush. In "Andromeda" I romanced both Suvi and Peebee - I liked them both just fine but wish Suvi's romance would have lasted longer because, compared to a party member romance, it felt very short.

I adore Triss in the Witcher games, very much enjoying our time together in Witcher 2, but no matter how much I liked her in W3, Yennefer is clearly meant to be with Geralt. I was rather happy to see Shani show up in the expansion, however, as I missed her desperately in the second game.

I loved Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite, even if you couldn't romance her as Booker.

Leliana was my one and only love interest in Dragon Age Origins, any time I attempted to romance someone else she dragged me back in. Too bad they ruined her character in the subsequent games. Speaking of Dragon Age, in #2 I liked Isabela and Merill equally but for different reasons, I managed to romance them both in one playthrough but never together - sadly. In "Inquisition" I romanced both Sera and Josephine, the first was more fun but the second is the type you'd settle down with.

That's all I can think of at the moment.
