Guess you didn't watch the Game Awards?
Well, I don't blame you, but there is a new trailer showcased.
Tim Schafer has been on this for years, and there is a lot of videos on youtube, where he describes the game:
      example from 2016: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFqZNcMAnFo)
      Hope you are getting.... Psyched!

I want to see a new TimeSplitters game, and that might just happen now that the IP was bought by THQ Nordic a few months back. I would say Jedi Academy and Burnout but both the Star Wars license and Burnout IP are owned by EA and you know what that means...

Okami. Okamiden was okay but I would like to see a proper sequel with better graphics than the DS could provide.

LOL....I literally forgot Okamiden exists (and I own it). I think it was released too late. The DS had lost all of its appeal to me at that point. You can only play so many touch screen/stylus games until they lose their luster imo.

Telltale made a Tales of Monkey Island that I thought was cool but nothing new is coming from Telltale these days

I wonder why no fanmade sequel has been made. If Telltale owned the IP, maybe now is a good time for modders to revisit the franchise

Reminds me of this little project: Monkey Island 2 in Cryengine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bInZ7_y4Lw)

Sleeping Dogs. That game was such a surprise for me, it had a really great story.

      Yes, please!

This topic is always a dangerous one, because sometimes a sequel can tarnish an IP. Assuming the best possible outcome, I'd ask for...

      Alien: Isolation
      Bloodborne
      Deadly Premonition
      Garou: Mark of the Wolves
      Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
      Half-Life 2
      Hard Corps: Uprising
      L.A. Noire
      Panzer Dragoon Orta
      The Saboteur
      Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
      Super Mario Galaxy 2
      Vampire Savior 2
      Vanquish

I'm sure I'm leaving some out, but it's a start.

        "L.A. Noire"

I mean, I'll try to keep this spoiler free, but how do you go about this? Cole Phelps is not an option, unless you were thinking Jack Kelso becomes the focal point of the subsequent game?

It doesn't have to be a direct sequel. Just give me a game with the same mechanics and a similar setting.

            Haomé!
            Great topic.

I would love to see a proper sequel to 'Outcast'.
I remember when 'Outcast 2 - Lost Paradise' was in development and i got frustratingly hyped for it, only for them to cancel it a few months later.
Years after that 'Open Outcast', which was an unofficial sequel made in the Unreal-Engine, also got cancelled, and i lost all hope.
Yeah, I know the remake was released some months back, but i sadly doubt the sales will finance another project.
A true, full fledged, sequel would be a dream come true!
Let's return to Adelpha! The lore and the dictionary is already in place, just bang together some good gameplay, and we are good to go!

I would love if a new Shinning Force came out.
A IV instalment, a reboot, anything really... maybe is just nostalgia but man i really loved thus games.

In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very unhappy and has widely been seen as a bad move.

Hey man They made a remake on the GBA, you might be aware of this, but if not - here you go:

They also made, quite a lot of newer entries to the series:

                Neo Geo

I hope they'll revisit the series, in a classic way soon, but for now, if you haven't tried some of those mentioned - you should give it a go.
                Peace out!

The GBA was a fantastic system, so i would definitely recommend that

That game is ridiculous expensive, though (160$):

Maybe a ROM version, could also be a possibility. I guess it's kinda OK, since the price is so damn high and SEGA doesn't sell the game anymore (as far as i know).

                Top 5:

#5: Binding of Isaac (AB+) - Fun, simple, quick, easy to pick up but there are just so much more that could be done. Maybe some updated graphics

#4: SSX Tricky - Fun and awesome snowboarding game, something I feel the PC is missing so bad. Great music as well

#3: Street Fighter 4 - Since the SF5 was trash, I hope Capcom can create something that is closer to what fighting games are supposed to be.

#2: Child Of Light - Really loved that game, not super complex but the art style is just amazing

#1: Hollow Knight - One of my absolute favorite games ever made, every aspect is perfect. Metroidvania is the way to go!

                Honorable mentions:
Ori and the blind forest but that one has a sequel coming up (super excited)
Max Payne since all three has been great but some really dumb decisions made the third have really low replay value
Super Hot really liked the concept but it was short, waiting for a follow up
Left 4 Dead great fun with friends but doubt Vavle will break the three rule
                Torchlight great ARPG
Age of Empires or Command and Conquer but the RTS hype is pretty low, really liked both series
Heroes of Might and Magic was great, joined the beta for the most recent one but it was so full of buggs and most of the recent versions I played crash constantly. Guess some new dev has to do it
NES / SNES remastered yea, stuff like Castle of Illusions and DuckTales was fantastic, hope they bring out more remastered versions of old classic
Crazy Taxi was super fun and can be done far better with modern hardware

Oh boy! A new Binding of Isaac would be sooo sweet!
I can't come up with any suggestions for improvement, though - but if they announce it some day, you bet your ass, I'll play it on day one.
... And the next 100 days
....... Who am i kidding? I'll play it till the third one would be released :P

Half-Life 2 Episode 2 (Valve, i know you don't want to release Episode 3 but can we please get Episode 2 Part 2?)
Savage 2 (One that doesn't break and implode after release and is free to play from the start, the one we got has 2 servers available that require level 30 and the create server option is broken).
And while its cheating to the question, i would love for them to actually finished Unreal Tournament 4 and market it.
