As of right now, it would have to be both Cyberpunk 2077 & Doom Eternal. Cyberpunk because of all the time waiting, teases and the idea of a massive world to sandbox in and customizations have me excited for the game. Plus I'm personally ready for our cyberpunk world anyways. Doom because its a franchise that honestly (for me at least) I can buy a game and have fun. Unlike others, Doom hasn't given me a terrible experience since I first played it on my E-machine back in the day.
I tried Kindom Hearts but really never got into it but it looks great. (first world work problems lol) um, I think that should be it.

What is your most anticipated game next year? Biggest bust?

I'm excited for the remake of Resident Evil 2 and Days Gone, but beyond that nothing is really shouting at me yet.
I think the biggest bust is easily going to be Anthem. Bioware and EA have lost their touch, it's not going to end well.

Most anticipated game is CyberPunk 2077 and I really do think its a good idea to bet that anthem flops next year. Bioware and EA haven't done enough to really show what the game is and how it separates itself from games like destiny besides the jetpacks. Although it will be interesting to see how EA decides to run the game's microtransactions (It will have microtransactions). They've already stated the game won't have loot boxes, but what are they going to do instead? Anybody think they'll take the titanfall 2 style of post game monetization? Or will they find some other brand new scummy way to get money from the consumers?

The usual suspects: DMC 5 and CP2077.
The ones that peaked my curiosity are RE 2, Doom eternal (still need to play the 2016 one) and Death Stranding (still want to know what the game is even about).
One that I'm indifferent but I may try is Outerworld. I've never actually played fallout nor have the interest in playing it, but the game trailer and plot look interesting.

Nothing intrigues me more then Death Stranding, its entire vibe is so goddamn weird and strange. I skip all horror games and actively avoid them but this has to be something else, got my hopes up bigtime.

I've always loved jets too and I'm 90 minutes away from a fighter bomber wing that has a ton of F-15Es. Favorite jet. Went to my first airshow when I was 5 and still have some old photos of when F-111s and A-7s were being flown. With that said, I'm super hyped for AC7 and have been replaying the ps2 trilogy a lot recently.Originally posted by IceWolf View PostSo far my most anticipated game for 2019 is Ace Combat 7. As a huge fan of fighter jets since I was a kid (I grew up in a Naval Base community), I have always loved jets. In fact, when I heard there is going to VR for this game, I ran out and bought a VR headset yesterday in anticipation of AC7 and getting to experience what it truly is like to fly a jet without leaving the ground. Besides, I am a huge fan of the series.
Biggest bust though? I am calling it now: the new Far Cry 5 sequel shown a couple of weeks ago. Far Cry series is so meh, except for Primal, that I think it is going to be average at best. However, it really is too soon to tell what I think will be the biggest bust for 2019. Come back to me in July or August.
Biggest bust for me is that I play on PC so I'm going to have to wait several weeks after the console launch. Sure, I could buy a PS4 copy but I'd rather hold out to play on my pc.

Borderlands 3 is my most anticipated game of next year even if it does'nt come out and if it doesnt... well shit there is a whole lot of awesome games comming out next year from Doom Eternal to Cyberpunk 2077. I kind of feel spoilt for choice this year.
If Anthem isnt the biggest bust of the year i swear i wont bust a nut for the rest of said year!.

Excited for:
Currently Confirmed for release next year: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Currently speculated for release next year: Cyberpunk 2077
I have no idea on what I believe will be a bust...maybe the new Dragon Age? The story looks pretty cringe there.

I am very much looking forward to the Resident Evil 2 remake. I know nostalgia if probably a large influence on my choice and my anticipation for this game, but from what I've seen of the game play and the over-all look, it's nice to see the series going back to the old formula of Survival Horror and the over the shoulder POV. Gives me a chance to oogle Leon as much as I want!

Most anticipated game for me right now is definitely Ashes of Creation. I played wow since The Burning Crusade and MMORPG's made me into a gamer, but seeing the direction WOW is heading in I quit a while ago. I'm hoping Ashes of Creation will be able to replace what WOW once was, before it was murdered by Activision-Blizzard.
Biggest bust IMO is probably going to be Anthem. The only thing I need to see before making this prediction is EA's name on the game. They have a unique talent of taking games with potential and murdering them.

I totally agree with you about Mass Effect. Mass Effect 1-3 have become a huge part of my life and no other game has fascinated and changed me like this. No other game could ever have this influence on me and certainly not Andromeda. Gameplay-wise Andromeda was good to very good, but the story and characters, my God, what a nightmare. I can't even remember the name of a character. As for Anthem, I don't have a good opinion about it. The only game where Bioware is still Bioware is SWTOR.

I expect some good games in 2019. Cyberpunk 2077 ( if released in 2019 ), Star Citizen ( haha ), Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, The Outer Worlds, The Last of Us 2, Lorelai, and Genesis: Alpha One.
