Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red & Mike Pondsmith.... although it is currently unknown if it will be released in 2019...

    Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

I'm a massive From Software fan boy and Sekiro is sounding sweet. Also looking forward to Blood and Truth on PSVR.

I'm hoping The Outer Worlds is good.
    Borderlands 3 has me interested.
    And Cyberpunk 2077.

I don't really gaf about anything from EA or Activision/Blizzard.

Good call. Forgot about The Last of Us 2. First game had great story. Hoping for the same from Part 2.

Right now my most anticipated is probably Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen (I'm an MMO junkie). Kinda looking forward to Days Gone and the Resident Evil 2 remake and Cyberpunk 2077. Atlas also looks promising.

As for the biggest bust...100% Mass Effect: Andromeda. My favorite game series is the original Mass Effect trilogy. Andromeda was just terrible. The gameplay was decent enough, but the writing, story, and characters were god awful. Much of what made the original trilogy great was diluted to nothing. The choices in dialogue were made generic, where there were more options (many the same really) but they removed the paragon and renegade system. Choices did very little. Where in the original Mass Effect trilogy, or just the first game alone, you could make choices that would result in the life or death of minor characters as well as major characters. Other decisions could have various effects on the universe and the people within it spanning all 3 games. Andromeda on the other hand, very little of your choices affected anything even over that single game.

Now if you meant biggest upcoming bust, I'll have to go with a few others here and say Anthem. Maybe I'm wrong, but I see this writing on the wall. Destiny and The Division were both MMO-lite games like Anthem. They all share this sort of design. And they'll share the same sort of problems. Folks will rush out to play at launch and there will be much disappointment. I'll be happy to eat crow if I'm wrong, but BioWare hasn't exactly been BioWare in recent years.

The game I'm anticipating the most right now is Hytale. It's just the beta that will be coming out though. I'm interested to see if the developers actually have what they've advertised.

Most anticipated game for me will definitely be Kingdom Hearts III. I also want to see how the new Pokemon generation will look.

    Most anticpated: Doom Eternal.

Ever since I first played Doom at the age of 4 (5?) back in the 90s, that angry little man on the screen has held a special place in my heart. Every time the Doom series is on the table, I kick my hype for anything else that onto the floor. Based on the gameplay we've seen, Doom Eternal looks to exactly what I wanted from a follow-up to Doom 2016. I just hope the PvP arena multiplayer, if they include it, is styled more like Quake and less like Call of Duty (basically, just ditch the custom classes and put weapons on the map).

Most likely to be a bust: Anthem

I don't really have much to say about this. Visually the game looks fine but I can't shake that feeling of how much it reminds me of Destiny. I don't want the game to fail, but I don't have a lot of hope for it either. It would be nice for Bioware to surprise me and release an undeniably kick-ass cooperative rooty-tooty loot-n'-shooty experience that washes the bad taste of Destiny out of our mouths.

Just games or also DLC/Addons for games?
    (I mean addon sized DLCs)

I play a few games where the core engine is updated free of charge, but they have addons that you can buy.

Some of my most anticipated are either out on early access or might come out this year.......or not.

    Most anticipated:
DCS F-14 (Tomcat, baby!) DCS World Addon might come out this year.
    Assetto Corsa Competizione
Cyberpunkt 2077 (Would like to add it but that backlog of games....)
Stainmore Route addon for Train Simulator 2018 (made by Steam Sounds supreme, quality stuff.) http://stainmorerouteproject.blogspo...nal-boxes.html
    Victoryworks GWR 57XX Pannier Tanks

    Mechwarrior 5
IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Bodenplatte (Bodenplatte was the final offensive operation of the Luftwaffe on the Western Front on January 1945)
Dirt Rally 2.0 (the first one was great for all it's shortcomings.)

    Busts
Probably Anthem, EA has ticked off to many players.
    Far Cry 5

Sadly if PGI (Piranha Games) keeps being PGI I could see even MW5 going south.
I have played MWO a lot and PGI has had the unbelieveable ability to mess up even the things the community tought were un-upmessable, like Solaris 7.
The most popular Battletech content ever, but no one plays the Solaris 7 mode in MWO.

HBS Battletech might fail if Paradox doesn't fix the issues that are still there, and keeps trouncing on the lore.

Trainz 2019, Auran has a history of overpromising and underdelivering.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is pretty much it. other games are coming out but to finally have the game in my hands..... though in a year or two after it releases and the enhanced or 3.1 something remix version comes out I'll cry a little on the inside.
