My top 3
1. John Irenicus (Baldurs Gate 2)( A real badass always coming to you in your dreams trying to draw you in with temptations of power.)
2. Vaas Montenegro (Far Cry 3) ( I dont usally care for the crazy villains but this one was just done so well. This guy was pretty creepy in alot of his scenes.
3.Dr.Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog)

Arthas Menethil is my favorite too! And he has been ever since I was introduced to him in WC3. His story is very sad and ironic, considering he became the very thing he wanted to destroy the most. Also, Arthas did nothing wrong at Stratholme!

Arthas Menethil(WC3 and WoW-WotLK) while one of my favorite movie villains is Darth Vader. They both draw a lot of similarities. Just how Anakin got drawn to the dark side by wanting to protect his people, Arthas joined the scourge and took control of it at the end of WC3 TFT. I also love the relationship he had with my 2nd favorite villain Kel'Thuzad during WC3. My third favorite villain is Kil"Jaeden because of his character development in WoW-Legion. I really sympathized with the guy and I got shivers when he talked to Velen.

I know it's any favorite villains, however all of these just happen to be from warcraft

I'm quite fond of story games, so this will be a tough one. And if I were to think on this more, this list might change. But from a story standpoint, here's 3 of my choices for favorite villains.

1. Sovereign & Saren - Mass Effect 1 (also a fan of Martin Sheen's work as The illusive Man but we'll roll all these into one.)
2. The St. Johns - TellTale The Walking Dead Season 1, Episode 2: Starved For Help.
3. The Boss - Metal Gear Snake Eater

Move aside Darth Vader, I think we can all agree our new favorite villain is Bethesda.

1) Kefka FF6 - I absolutely hated this guy. From hosing Leo to his laugh there was nothing I liked. But he won. Not many villains do that amd it has stuck with me.

2) Kreia KotOR 2 - Many due to surprising me. Though I did catch the evil vibes totally had her pegged as the 'too cool to live' mentor like Obi. When she did her heel turn... I knew I should've called it but still flabbergasted by it.

3) Delita FFT - Probably because this one hurt. May be considered a anti-hero but given he was manipulating the whole plot and how it ends with the Princess... Really connected with him and he had my sympathy after Chapter 1 but, man, did he just dive into evil with both feet.
