    Hexen!

Imagine if it got the Doom Treatment, slinging spells, swinging axes, obliterating demons and goblins and whatnots.

    Would be terrific!

    Make it PSVR, happy man

There's rumours that a RE3 remake is already in the works, and honestly it'd make a lot of sense. Given the number of shared locations between 2 and 3 you could reuse a fair chunk of assets. Hopefully it works out as RE3 was my joint favourite game in the series.

As for a 'remake' from a similar time period as RE2, I'd love to see Xenogears given some love as long as they finished the game off properly. I absolutely loved that game but the second disk will always leave a sour taste in my mouth.

I'd love to see a modern version of Raptor: Call of the Shadows . Yes, a MS-DOS game. It was a great top down shooter from when I was a kid and it's basic premise lends itself to modern design techniques for progression and development over multiple runs. Plus, you could do such a remake to much lower GFX standards then most and it'd be perfectly fine. Think something on the level of Contra: Shattered Soldier, not something recent. (Better is generally better, but doing this part cheaply means more money on other things.) The idea of making a bigger version of Raptor, with substantial upgrades to your plane and multiple weapon upgrade options (side grades my friend, they're great!) and the option to take any of a vastly expanded missions in the order you like would, I think, make for a great revival of a title that has resonance with people but is also relatively cheap to do. Meaning your bar for profitability is lower and odds of success vastly higher. It'd be a niche title and as long as the dev team went into it with realistic goals you could get it done inside of 3 years for a low cost and sell it on a budget, then if the success warrants it, start selling expansion packs.

Yea for sure. Capcom has to be happy with the reception RE2 Remake has been getting sosfar, it only makes sense to do the 3rd game. Like you said, most of the assests are already made.

Xenogears is a good one too. I love Tetsuya Takahashi

Metal Gear Solid 1, hands down.

Top down action stealth is a dead genre nearly except for titles like Mr. Shifty and I wanna see more.

C&C 4. That game still gives me nightmares. I want it remade in a classic RTS style, with building elements.

Apart from that I don't know, Vib-Ribbon maybe.

IMO, we could go for a remake of the old TES games. That, and perhaps the original Rayman games.

Probably none because there is a high probability of them shoehorning microtransactions into it. :P

If it can be done without the game being violated by corporate greed then I'd probably go with Recettear.

Okay I'm genuinely curious what someone would even DO remarking Recettear. The art style means it's basically timeless. I'm curious what you'd want for it because I can't see it.

The majority of the improvements for me would be in the dungeon system. I wouldn't mind some extra "optional" (turn on/off in settings) story elements and characters added in so that you can keep the old experience for nostalgia or in case they screw up with the new additions.

ehhh if I could get a remade game.... Brute Force from the original xbox. It came out right when xbox live started but they didn't have full online matches yet so you only had map packs. 4 player online co-op could be great.

                      or well

Man, there's a game I enjoyed that just vanished into history. Brute Force was neat but always felt incredibly bare bones. Like they got started and then... poof. Kinda a view into what could have happened to Halo if it wasn't the legend it became I guess.

They wasted my time with the first game's remake give me Secret of Mana 3 and Alien vs Predator the arcade game with online multiplayer support.

Your wish was granted many years ago. There’s a GameCube remake called Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, and it’s awesome.

I am aware of this one, but I meant in the state it was made. Not on the MGS 2 engine.

While I wouldn't want a 1:1 exact remake. The Dark Forces games would deserve remakes... Too bad Disney killed LucasArts.
