Title says it all, what game from the past would you like to see given the Resident Evil REmake treatment?
Personally I'd like to see either Soul Reaver or ShadowMan get this kind of love.

Agreed! Especially to make it more future proof, also to make it play nicer with modern sticks, my Warthog is just too precise for it.
I get a massive deadzone in the middle where nothing happens.
I would also add the Multiplayer from XvT and add better modability.
As for EA I wouldn't trust them to handle that properly, and sadly most of the X-Wing Games's stories are definitive EU.......which runs counter the new "Disney Canon"!
Knowing Disney/Lucasfilm (Lucasarts not really existing anymore) I'd also bet we'd get a horrible story.

I would love to see Shadow of Rome make a return - combat in this game was so fun and brutal and I didn't see anything like this since then. Was hoping that it would be one of the games caught in a remaster wave that Capcom rode for quite some time

Pft! I'd pay money to play the real deal, and I'm sure lots of others would as well.

More of a trilogy than a single game but I'd love to see the Xenosaga games remade some of my favorite games growing up.

The Suffering & The Suffering: ties that bind. Two action/horror games from the PS2 era. Would be awesome to play those in HD.

https://www.reddit.com/r/skywind/ is the closest Morrowind will get a remake. One of the Bethesda studio's or Zenimax claimed it was much too expensive to remaster/remake Morrowind, and so they go ahead and create Elder Scrolls Online WITH an expansion that features Morrowind instead.Originally posted by PriestTroit View PostMorrowind for current consoles. Holy crap it would be a dream come true. :-)

That 's one of the reasons I think a remake would be interesting, the story definitely could have done with some work. on a gameplay level as well I quite like the Sonic Adventure games and Sonic Unleashed felt a bit like what 06 could have been if it hadn't been rushed to release the way it was. I just feel like there was so much wasted potential in that game that I end up wondering what could have been.

I would love to see a serious attempt to make a “Far Cry” like/styled version of the game Contra. Moving from objective to objective fighting the alien hordes and multi platform boss battles while being decked out in cut off sleeves, bandanas, ripped out of your mind, and wielding hyper aggressive weapons while dealing out destruction with extreme prejudice! One can only dream. 🥺

I have a few that I'd like to see get either a remake, remaster or or sequels.Maybe a couple here I wished they'd done better.Originally posted by Chadaclysm View PostTitle says it all, what game from the past would you like to see given the Resident Evil REmake treatment?

Dino Crisis 1 & 2
Clock Tower
Resident Evil Code Veronica
Half Life 1
Smackdown vs Raw 2006 - This was just one of the last best wrestling games before they all seemed to start sucking hard in the story department.
Mass Effect 1 - I think the story and dialogue mechanics are fine. AI and Mako missions could use a major overhaul though.
X-Wing, Tie Fighter, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance
Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem
Fatal Frames
The Thing

So, a bit of a surprise. A PC game where you played as a viking that I loved back in the day called RUNE is getting a remake and is currently listed on Steam.
Anyone else remember this one?

Thousand Arms and Brigandine are a couple of games I wouldn't mind having a second go around. I don't have either anymore and I never concluded them, which is unfortunate.

I'm guessing FFVIII didn't resonate with its players all too well. They did pick a bunch of weird mechanics for the game, like the widely reviled Junction system. The story was a bet meh for me personally but the theory crafting is pretty cool.
