Hyper Light Drifter. It was the first game in a long time that felt different to me. The scenery was grand and vibrant, and the music felt like it was a part of the world, rather than just being the sound track.
The lack of any dialogue, having stories instead told through a series of pictures, drew you further into the world itself. There's so much I could say about this game but then I'd be here for a whole essay xD
    "Are you Left or Right?"
    Bruh I'm just chillin'.

Mount and Blade: Warband. Gosh I can't wait for Bannerlord. M&B is always my go to, I am so excited for Bannerlord to come out and introduce more people to the genius of Taleworlds.

My favorite games are Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Warframe and the entire Souls series. I've personally beat Metroid Prime 1, 140 times and Metroid Prime 2, 36 times since I started actually counting and am planning on streaming another playthrough of it. Put around 4000 hours into the Souls games (Demon's Souls - DS3) and have played around 3000-4000 hours of Warframe.

My favorite game for the last year or so is Ark: Survival Evolved! I've been a gamer for over 40 years. There is just too many titles to list, lol.

Hard to choose just one but off the top of my head I'd say Phantasy Star Online, Nioh, Dragon's Crown

"Planescape: Torment" is my favorite game of all time. I had been a GM for several years before playing the game but never truly had a handle on the Planescape setting until I played this game. Afterwards, it became one of my favorite settings in which to run and one I still run to this day, twenty odd years later. The gameplay of the video game feels dated now, sadly, but there isn't much that can ever hope to replace it in my heart.

"Fallout 3" made me a Fallout fan and though New Vegas is probably a better game, objectively, 3 is still the game I cherish most in the series.

"Kotor 2" was an incredible followup to the original game and introduced us to one of the best characters in all of Star Wars - Kreia.

"Witcher 3" set a new bar for great 3rd person rpgs, beating out even Bioware for immersion and gameplay. I enjoyed the first two Witcher games but the third game redefined the rpg genre for the modern age.

The "Mass Effect" trilogy as a whole is my second favorite gaming experience of all time. While no single game in the series deserves that title, taken as an entire experience, importing your choices across three titles, it stands second-to-none as the best gaming trilogy ever.

The Witcher 3 & its expacs are at the top of my list currently.

During the NES days, Destiny of an Emperor was my favorite.

                        tough one, very tough.

If I had to pick one and only one, I'd say the original Doom, great on its own ever better with the Brutal Doom mod.

For me it is Super Mario Land 2 on the original Game Boy and Castlevania Chronicles on the PS1 but if were talking about modern games it is Skyrim on the Xbox 360.

Final Fantasy 9, Dark Souls 3, The Last Of Us, RDR2 (of course!).
Put me in a dark room with these games and their consoles, and I will be content, may need watering occasionally.

There are quite a few games that hit the spot for me where I can't decide which one is best.

                                - Halo 3 --- (I will never forget the countless days I played that game and loved every second of it, even more than the first 2)
                                - Quake 1 --- (man I was so addicted to that game as a child + the soundtrack was just brutal) (btw. buy Dusk if you ever liked Quake, dopest game I have played in a long time)
                                - Witcher 3 --- (pure joy, start to finish; no Idea how CDPR pulled that one off, especially after W2)
                                - F.E.A.R. --- (It makes me so sad that Fear's gameplay formula never got a proper sequel; someone should do something about that lel)
                                - Kingdom Hearts --- (such a goofy and weird game but my young self loved every immersive second of it)
                                - The Last of Us --- (the last half of that game is just perfect imho)
                                - Vampire: The Masquerade/Planescape: Torment --- (because of their well done role playing aspect that I've never seen replicated anywhere else since)

I still love each and every single one of these games.
