I'm a huge sucker for RPG's and since I'm on the wrong side of 30, there was a time when JRPG's were about the only option for the genre. Western RPG's didn't start picking up and becoming quality titles until I was already out of High School. With that in mind, my favorite RPG is also my favorite game, but it's not one game, but three that tell a complete story, and that would be the .hack GU series, which is technically 4 games now, hence my avatar. I just like the story, the atmosphere, the characters, all of that.

Deus Ex is mine, I have played it since I was a young kid when I got it for free from my parents in Ion Storm bundle that someone gave them as they didn't want it. The only one that might compete with Deus Ex might be GTA: Vice City as it was the first game I can remember playing on my fathers PC.

Favorite Game? No division for genre or just as a catch all? Like choosing a favorite book or movie; it's tough to take all the great experiences I've had over the years and cherry pick one above the others.
From debating over a Bulbasaur or Squirtle in Pokemon Red, to pursuing Lu Bu as Ma Chao in Dynasty Warriors 3, saving Hyrule in multiple timelines, slaying Demons and the Covenant, to now perfecting FashionFrame and the art of Gwent it is hard to put one over the others. Maybe I haven't found my perfect game or am just too sentimental to past memories, hard to say.

My favorite game is star citizen. I love to play this game for the whole experience. You can go from space station to a moon to a planet all without a loadingscreen. And if you want you can pick up a vehicle and drive around the planet if you please. What is so far in the game is cargo hauling / mining / escort / bounty hunting and racing. Pretty sure i forgot something else. Would recommend anyone who loves a sandbox game to give it a chance and watch a streamer play it to get a impression whats in there. And whats not. Long development time, but the attention to detail is amazing really.

It's a visual novel. I love games with interesting stories, and this one instantly grabbed me with it's unusual premise. And the plot twists in the final true route are mind boggling. Also the OST is very suitable and atmospheric. Actually the whole game is dripping with mysterious atmosphere. All while somehow also manages to feel comfy, probably due to the great cast of characters that are very well written and quickly become like friends.
Almost 9 years has past since i played this game, and i still consider it as my favorite. I think i will replay it next year when it will be 10 years anniversary

Have to say my fav of all time was Conquer Online (played since beta, then for about 7-8 years) easily uave over 10k hours. Prob more like 30k hrs. the 100+ pvp battles in the open world were amazing, the tolerance and encouragement for OWPVP, the drama, systems (broken gear dissapears forever) no channels, the people on your server you knew well friends and enemies alike, etc etc
my fav single player game, Nier Automata. Just a masterpiece in story telling and sound track, im waiting till i forget most details so i can replay it again.
my fav games from the past, MGS, 2 or 3 discs on ps1, cant remember.
defcon 5,
FF 7, 4 discs omg amazing, all i know is i had 99hr 59m on it, maxed out tome counter.
