Since every gaming forum eventually gets one of these, i will start it off. I have been searching for this game for almost a year now with no luck.
Theres this PC game i played in the (probably) early 2000s, it came in one of those "X gaming demos" discs. The game was what i can only describe as a third person 3d toy robot fighting game. The closest game to its kind that i can think of is Armored Core (for the PS1, not sure how the more modern games look and play).
You would select your toy robot (in the demo, i belive you would only be able to select the "tin-can" model) and you would fight other robots in diverse 3d household scenarios. The maps were quite huge for a simple 1v1 (maybe other modes were avaiable in the full version?).
You could go around exploring, getting power ups, guns, etc but the whole objective of the game was to kill your oponent (the game had both yours and the enemy's healthbars on display, like a normal 2d fighting game.
Can anyone help me out fiding the name for this game?
The "Toy Tin Can" robot looked kinda similar to this:
