I remember playing the original Spyro game and passing the controller off to my Dad every time one of those little guys who'd stolen the egg needed chasing because I was about five and had no patience or skill for chasing them without dying.

My first video game ever is a complete blur. Possibly Worms? Maybe emulated Pokémon? I'm not sure.
But my first game that was truly my own and not a hand me down or shared game was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. What an absolute gem of a game it was, still love it to bits and wish they'd done a better job building on its solid foundations. I still remember spending hours upon hours in the Chao Garden, and when replaying it recently I want out of my way to learn how to optimize my runs of Sonic and Shadow's levels in particular. Easily one of the most impressive looking games out there still if you play it well.

Super Mario Bros. 2 on NES. I remember it being kind of a scary and weird game at the time (I was 4 or 5), but I still played it alot. Probably because it was the only game we had at the time.
The boss battle music, some sound-effects, the birdheads that straight up vore you and weird enemies were a healthy dose of nightmare fuel.
I am glad I still have the game and the NES, plus both are in fine condition.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, when I was about 5 years old. I used to watch my cousins play it for me because I was too much of a pussy to do it my self. Eventually I completed the first level without assistance which I remember vividly.

First (home) game memories were of the Dragon32. It had its Donkey Kong and PacMan clones as well as a "speaking" game called Android Attack and also a strange Star Trek kind of simulator/text adventure called Dragon Trek.
First console was the Sega Mega Drive with Sonic/SoR on bundled.
Greatest memory was loading up the Half-Life Demo disc for the first time.

My first game was Pitfall on the Atari 2600. I have very good memories of it, as I remember it blew my young mind at the time, it really was a great adventure for me. Looking at it today makes me marvel at how a couple of pixels could transport me to a whole new world. Such is the power of a child´s imagination.

Doom95 and the Myth series (Myth:the fallen lords and Myth 2: Soulbrighter). Myth: the fallen lords is bungies first game they developed for both mac and PC (they did games first for mac), then they created Halo and sold myth. These where my dads games. I remember one of my own games where Pharaoh (Sierra, those who made the Caesar series), which i played a lot. Had Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate demo. One of these are my first, exception for some kids games."If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Need for Speed: Underground on the PC.
I played that game with my dad and I loved it so much back then. I think I was around 5 or 6 when I played it.
My most vivid memory in that game was that I wanted to rename my dads save but I accidentally pressed the delete button. I still feel bad to this day.
