Also, what games do you all enjoy from either AAA or Indie?
Mostly Indie games currently as Rimworld, Cuphead, Bad North are what I am playing but I also play some AAA titles such as Team Fortress 2 sometimes.

I use to play Battlefield but since their little debacle I have thrown EA on my permanent boycott list, the same goes for Bethesda as Fallout 76 demonstrated how terrible they have become so I am boycotting them. Shame that it seems lots of developers and publishers seem to be going down the tube using disgusting tactics like bribing reviewers, releasing buggy messes, and filling it full of microtranscations, and mistreating potential customers.

I don't mind either, I refuse to buy games where they have either:
'Added' DLC by removing stuff from the game.
      Included microtransactions.

Games that are free to play, I can understand having to pay for something like aesthetic's (or anything else that won't change the mechanics), but when I buy a game, I expect it to be the full game.

Downloaded Skyrim last week or so, already played 11 hours on it and love it.

I try to have some sort of balence between AAA and Indie games.

I think when playing alone i prefer AAA titles in terms of the experiance that offers for solo play. But i have had a lot more fun in multiplayer in indie games recently, or at least in local co-op, although that said i do think the most fun i have ever had on a multiplayer title is the Monster Hunter series and i think that is concidered AAA, especially after MH World.

I think i find Indie games quite interesting becuse for most of my teens and 20s Indie was just not really a thing at all, so i never really grew up with it which might make my experiances seem better than they actually are. I feel both AAA and Indie games in some form make it into most gamers libraries nowadays though, and with easier to use technology and peoples attitudes evolving around indie game si feel AAA and indie will slowly merge, especially when lookign at games like Ashen which have an indie feel but close to AAA production values. If the AAA industry keeps treating players the way it is currently i feel that indie might take over at least for a little while..

Never really been into indie games until this year. I loved Celeste and it's really close to being my GOTY

Both, but I don't play much from EA, Ubisoft or Activision. I did like Titanfall 2 though.

I'll eat up big releases from Sony, Bethesda, From Software, Rockstar and really dug Arkham Knight, Witcher 3, MGSV and Hitman 1 & 2 this gen. Hype af for a bunch next year already.

Indie and mid-tier kinda gives me more of the offbeat, eclectic stuff I like. Plus, back in the day when 3D games were mostly pretty jank and trying to figure themselves out, I still was hanging onto 2D games like Symphony of the Night and Metal Slug, so when indie games got rolling in the mid 2000's, it was like a comeback for my kind of games.

My favorite games of the gen or year will probably be half and half. Playing Mutant Year Zero and Below right now. Guacamelee 2 was my jam this year. Still need to get to Dead Cells, Hollow Knight and Celeste.

I'd say I mostly played indie games, and an indie game I've been enjoying a lot that came out recently is equilinox, made by Thin Matrix.
