What's a good game to get on a PlayStation vita

Depends on what genres and styles you're interested in. If you've never played Tearaway, Killzone Mercenary or Gravity Rush, those are a must. Everyone recommends Persona 4 Golden, but you have to be open to JRPG's for that and the time/patience for it. The Vanillaware games like Dragon's Crown, Muramasa Rebirth and Odin Sphere are fantastic. Neat 2D platformers like Rayman Origins and Legends + Sound Shapes. Some solid fighting games like Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter x Tekken. Racers like Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed. Sports genres like Hot Shots Golf World Invitatial and Virtua Tennis 4.

There's a ton of indie and arcade style games on it... those are my jam. Worth checking out at least Shovel Knight to start if you've somehow missed it. But there's everything from TxK, to Darkest Dungeon, to Cosmic Star Heroine, to Undertale, to Severed, to Salt & Sanctuary and so much more.

There's the remaster collections like God of War, Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3, Ratchet & Clank, Final Fantasy X & X-2 etc, and they're great to have portable, but they're not necessarily the best ways to play those games depending on how picky you are.

My favorite lesser known games on it are Mystery Chronicles: One Way Heroics, La Mulana EX and Stealth Inc. I also really like shmups so Dariusburst CS, Soldner X-2 and Super Hydorrah do a lot for me.

Riviera the Promised Land, really good rpg that has really interesting mechanics to "level up". You gain stat boosts and ultimate attacks after using a certain item a set amount of times. Really cool game.

Anything by Limited Run games since theyre a good distribution company on that kind of stuff. Idk if theyre expensive, especially since they had a limited release on Jak and Daxter, but i dont have a ps vita...
