I just watched the trailer and I am excited about this. I WISH I had a game system. I haven't allowed myself to actually own a game console since Playstation 2/Xbox because I am such an addict. But... from the original makers of Fallout? Gives me hope of something fresh! I'm trying not to overhype myself. WHat do you guys know about this title? Or what have you heard?

EDIT: So I am seeing there will be no essential NPCs DO you think this will be an open world with the freedom to be good or bad and kill whoever like in Morrowind? That is honestly some of the most fun for me. Being a sonofabitch in games sometimes. I was soooooooooo sad wgen Oblivion came out and I couldn't kill Patrick Stewart. It's the first thing I tried.

Hey at they they are trying to be honest. not every title has to be open world as great as many are. Some games benefit from it. star wars republic commando was linear but it was a great game.

I don't know how necessary a romance option is. It totally depends on how the story is. When is this thing coming out? I don't even have a gaming system. I just live through other people.

While I'm looking forward to The Outer World, I've already seen articles telling players to temper their expectations. From what I've heard, the game will not be as large as Fallout NV, and may even be borderline linear in gameplay.

They also listed that there will be no official support for modding and no romance option as of today. (Hopefully they change that or the unofficial mods change that)

Yeah, the entire trailer was basically saying "Hey, do whatever the hell you want." So it'd be a sin to have non-killable characters.
