Battlefield V Play, Pause or Pass?

Im a battlefield fan. Enjoyed BF4, loved BF1 and was excited over BF5 when I heard of it BUT after it's controversy lost my intrestest. I'm still a fan, so I kind of want to buy it but... my question now is, after it's first update, should I buy it or wait few more months?

I'd suggest waiting until it's cheaper, or maybe buying it used, so that way you can still play it but EA/Dice doesn't get any money from you.
