So new here thought I'd add something fun for us all and see what the crowd thought they might have preferred during the Video Game Awards show.
Honestly to me there was only a couple of games that deserved the right to be viewed on that show as far as awards go.
1) God of War
2) Red Dead Redemption 2
3) Spiderman (2018)
Honestly that's it for my list. Every other game has stabbed me in the back and continues to remind me to stay away from consoles for the life of me and my wallet. This includes-
1) Battlefield V, Charged with buggy gameplay, withholding game content, insulting it's playerbase
2) Assassin's Creed Odessy, Pay to win Micro transactions, changing it's formula to grinding MMO scams
3) Fallout 76, Buggy incomplete content, insulting it's playerbase, copying and pasting it's formula, slow development
Don't get me started on Overwatch which is going downhill, World of Warcraft which has been trying to sale more and more c**p just to survive, and Heros of the Storm which just got shafted or LEague of Legends which went downhill anyways with it's development philosophy of never being balanced at all.
I don't know. I wished I saw something else from the gaming awards which would have made me proud to be a gamer but so far I'm just further and further from having that pride to even mention my hobby in real life what with how politics are forced into games and that we are awarded less and less freedom in our beautiful platforms. So much potential turned over for money. And that is in my opinion just sad.
