Game suggestions (rare and interesting titles)

I would like to start a thread with first game. My beloved Fonline Reloaded.
It is a online mmorpg based on Fallout 1 and 2.
It contains real time combat system (from Tactics), maps from original games and few new ones.
Mining and scavenging was added and whole crafting system around it.
Lvl cap is 21 so you need to make several specalised characters. Some for crafting, mining., others for trading and pvp.
As endgame you and your friends can form a faction. Than you can capture some cities like Hub, New Reno etc.
In that city resources, rare items and money are spawning in chests as reward..
But others try to take it from you.
So I would advice to log in with a bunch of friends. You dont want to wonder in radioactive wasteland by our own.
For loners there is an option to do PVE engame quests for big rewards and rare items (like implants)
Great mmorpg , free to download
    Link below

p.s. sorry for terrible eng im self learner

For me I think it's going to be Project Nimbus (Got it from Steam) Mostly because I looked for something to fill three itches, Armored Core, Ace Combat and Zone of The Enders.

Holy lord did I find the game for those three styles... It's got perhaps the most weird feel to it, like the Dynasty Warrior's Gundam games, where you get this feeling your seeing the condensed version of a bigger narrative the just kind of assumes you know the rest. (There isn't outside of potential developer documents as far as I can tell) and it was made by a tiny outfit (GameCrafterTeam) on a shoe string budget. It's plot and characters are almost hilariously cheesy and I swear if they borrowed any harder from Gundam's assorted trends someone would notice but... But I just like it. It's this bizarre Hodge-podge of tropes, plots and ideas I've seen before and manages an actually unique combat style that mixes Armored Core, Ace Combat and Zone of the Enders into this weird mishmash that actually works. (And can be so damn hard I had to cheat for god mode to clear the final real boss fight with Yuliana. To it's credit, it fights 100% fair and it shames me I couldn't best it on easy.)

The outfit is working on a (presumably distant) sequel from what little I can tell and darn it for all it's weirdness I like it. It's actually pretty polished for it's budget and they've got three REALLY good Voice talents (while everyone else is hilariously budget hit or miss) and a soundtrack that wears it's influence openly without copying.

It's the only game I've ever played and enjoyed so obscure it doesn't have a page on Wikipedia and neither do the developers or the publisher as far as I can tell!

I dont know if this counts but Id say Battlezone: Combat Commander.
Its a weird mix of FPS style vehicular combat with RTS elements, going as far as having base building, rescource managment, unit control and even a top down sat view (which however removes you from the battle entirely).
All rounded up with a nice, B-Movie grade plot and a decision point that you can see from lightyears away. ^^
The only downsides I can think of are the at times problematic pathfinding of you units, the cumbersome command interface and that the AI of your Scavangers (your resourcing unit) was made by the same guys who programmed the original Tiberium Harvesters from C&C, they have a tendancy to waltz right through the enemy base. xD

Yes! I loved playing through this game so much that I revisited it a couple times.

Earth Defense Force 4.1 The shadow of New Dispair is my newest obsession! Not too mainstream but very entertaining. Not much of a narrative I must say though.

I suppose you mean forgotten or hidden gem titles, rather than rare games. For many a rare games is often a poor title to play.

So a hidden gem I can suggest is Lock's Quest for the Nintendo DS. An interesting Tower Defense that had me stroking my beard deciding how to make my next move for hours before realizing I had alchemy to attend to!

    Farewell for now.

From the golden era of cRPGs comes an interesting steampunk take. Me and my friends really liked this back in the day, it didn't get a lot of love back then but it's very interesting.
Wow , what a great game for the time...RPG addiction , so remember spending hours in that game

If you like Fallout stuff, Wasteland 2 is pretty good. As far as really rare stuff, personally I have a soft spot for games with really out there graphical choices, like Under a Killing Moon (film + 3d) and Neverhood (claymation). A just plain all-round good game most people don't know about is Seiken Densetsu 3. Old SNES sequel to Secret of Mana that never came out in the West. But it's the best Secret of Mana game by miles

Edit: I gotta add Ogre Battle (the original one). It's so out there and dated, but it was incredible. The whole series is good (has a pretty great, dark game of thrones type plot despite the fisher price characters), but specifically the first one.

I don't know if you would count it, but the original Mirror's Edge is fun. It's pseudo-mainstream, yet is deserving of your time.

Man, I played so much of the Myst series when I was younger! Riven is probably my favorite of the set, too.
