Overwatch was very fun when i started to play it because there are a shit load of things to learn, a lot of mechanical skill to acquire (well not for brigitte..) and you get this "sense of pride and accomplishement" when you reach a new level in competitive mode.

Went to GM in solo queue, playing zenyetta, and god it's IMO really not the easiest way to climb in solo but that was my goal

The further you climb, the more you feel the issue in this game, going from SOME player who insta lock (mostly DPS) without giving you any chance to make a strategy, to the balance issue (Tracer on console is a fcking joke, good luck headshoting her with a freaking controller when she can one clip bodyshot you), and overall the lack of balance between the team makes it boring to play.

you obvisouyl can't have perfect balance between the level of the two team, but most of the times you can tell in the 2 first minutes if you're going to get run over, or the opposite. With a very few exception where it's actually very close.

If i had to resume my thought, 8/10 you will get a poor game that will make you want to hang jeff kaplan, and the other 2/10 will be like a "gaming orgasm". But 2 games on 10 is just not enough imo.

Sadly yes she still is. They lpwered her damage on shield bash stun but that still doesn't stop her from swinging her flail lioe crazy.

I feel like overwatch was always destined to be how it is now, it was overhyped from the beginning, so it was all downhill from there. Even so, i am still suprised of how bad it got, i thought in 2020 it would get like how it is rn, but it happened so soon...

Honestly I only really played D.Va for any lenght of time back when I used to play, even when she was bad, I just found it hilarious that someone would talk about their highscore while killing people. I have a dark sense of humor I know. Anyways, I generally found out that the further I got, the more "experts" I met, 9/10 times the dps on our teams who told everyone else what we needed more of but never changed themselves. So after a good couple of months of basically being stuck as I couldn't really get further, I got a bit tired of the game. I didn't even mind some Heroes being OP that much, yeah it sucks, but it happens. The real killer for me, the fact that skill mattered less than comp. I had for a good long time been able to get through bad comps (probs contributed a bit) with D.Va as I learned how to play her when she was not really viable, but I was low ranked so it didn't matter that much. So later when she got buffed and some QoL changes I did pretty great. Me and one other guy could usually carry a game, when that basically became impossible... Meh... I don't mind working together and honestly in most games I'm the dude running behind you pointing their gun in all directions having no clue, but I do think skill should be the deciding factor.
