Forgotten Video games (series) That need a squel

Bushido Blade. The time is right. Pretty it up with modern graphics. Way more weapons and styles. Create a character ala Soul Calibur. 4 player online / split screen multiplayer.

Otogi/Otogi 2 for the original Xbox. the first two games were great but more would and could be amazing.

Intelligent Cube, for the PS1. It was on the original demo disk with the likes of Parrapa the Rapper and Armored Core. Fantastic 3rd person puzzle game.

I'm a big fan of Alundra and Land Stalker and I hope that both games get at least a HD-Remaster at some point or a proper Remake, like the cancelled Land Stalker PSP-game which really looked nice back then.

I know it hasn't been gone long but... I want another Armored Core game. I get that they've got a lot invested in the Soul's series, but... I miss my mercenary mech game series and 5/VD really didn't sell itself to me.

It's bad enough I put together an outline proposal for one myself just to deal with it.

I totally came into this thread to post Breath of Fire. 3 and 4 were great, 2 was great for its time, even 5 had some really cool ideas. Would love to see a real BoF6. Although I'm starting to think a more modern jRPG studio should just buy all these old 90s IPs that are never going to get used, like BoF, Suikoden, etc., so that someone will actually do something with them.

Totally agreed.

I'd kill to see a Suikoden 6 and a continuation of the likes of BoF, Grandia, Legend of Legia, Wild Arms etc.

I'd also love to see a proper KOTOR sequel, I never wanted an MMO I wanted a third single player game in the series. A new Vampire the Masquerade game would be awesome too, Bloodlines was a flawed masterpiece, I was gutted when Trokia shut its doors.

Nice thread.. Just in time for my Christmas wishlist. .. Santa please... I was a good boy, didn't buy any EA title this year

1. I would like a follow up to BrütalLegend, but I´m not sure how they possibly could manage the music rigths nowadays. Seriously... It´s a miracle, that it even exists.

2. The DUNE series deserves a next game of any sort. I read all the books and the Lore is just too much fun.

Honestly I could see a great DUNE game coming out in the next ~5 years. The new movie (which I have faith will be very good due to the directer) comes out in the next year or two with a sequel coming out after that. If they do well, who knows? It would probably be the best time to do it.

What about Sleeping Dogs? That game brought me back to gaming after a couple year hiatus and just felt so right. There were rumors of a sequel but the developer team got cut and fell apart so it's kind of up in the air.
