  • Forgotten Video games (series) That need a squel

Personally I want a sequel to the Breath of Fire series, The last official sequel to come out was a lazy mobile cash-grab. It was so bad that it was shut down and plans to move it internationally have been canceled.

Suikoden- or Gensosuikoden if you wanna call it that. Suikoden 2 is one of my top RPG's ever played.
And hugs and kisses to whoever mentioned Alundra a few posts back!

Could we get a modern remake or at least a new Ultima game but more in the dark setting of the 7th game in the series “The Black Gate.”

Dino Crisis need a proper sequel, taking pace after the second game starring Regina.

I'd like to see a sequel to Alan Wake as well as a follow-up to the original Mass Effect trilogy as it remains my favorite game trilogy. Not Andromeda though. That was a bit of a train wreck. Decent gameplay but terrible story and characterization. There's a lot that could be followed up on there. As with Alan Wake, there's a lot of unanswered questions that could fold neatly right into a sequel.

I would love to see Resistance Fall of Man revived. I enjoyed all three games. I think the differences between each game may have put some people off. Also the Death of one of the main characters so soon was a big shock. That's part of the reason I liked them so much. The changes from a world war type setting to a more futuristic shooter and finally a post apocalyptic atmosphere really added to the overall feeling of the story. Each game definitely had it's own unique art style and vibe. Also It just gave more of a feeling of time passing and that major changes in this world we're taking place. Each game had that core feeling yet we're wildly different from each other. Every iteration felt fresh. Also I loved the multiplayer and the differences each time. Each time you had different multiplayer weapons, abilities, match sizes, etc. You could go from small team tacticts to giant large scale battles for example. It seems Insomniac didn't let themselves feel tied to one particular concept with resistance. I think that helped to keep things from getting stale and they allowed themselves to take different directions for each game. So yes each game can seem completely different and work as a standalone game but I feel they also we work well when brought together and you play all three. You just have to be open to the changes each game in the series brings.

I can think of one. Has anyone here heard of the SNES game Evo: The Search for Eden?

Jade Empire. That game was great. Atmosphere, story, fighting styles, characters... it was just a lovely game.

Even tho it was a good game overall, i still want more Chrono trigger, personally i liked the history but not so much the ending, and im sure someone can make a better sequel than Chronno cross (personally i didn't like it, but i can see why it's a good game).

Sega Genesis Shadowrun,. One of my favorite games of all time. Cyberpunk 2077 looks like it might be the closest I will get to a good sequel. I know cyberpunk and Shadowrun were different games I am referring to the feel of the game setting. Similiar genres will be good enough for me.
