Thought on Battlefield V ?

Been a huge fan of Battlefield since BF1942 in 2002 and have owned every Battlefield since but unfortunately for me the franchise is dead.
Even if you were to take the SJW crap out of the game it still doesn't look or play like the rest.

I honestly think the game is alright. I booted it up for the first time last night (really glade that EA/Dice made quick work of making it 50% off for veteran Battlefield players). The visuals are good (as always) and the gunplay feels satisfying (as always). I've exclusively been playing Conquest and for the few hours I've put in, it seems like any other Battlefield I've played. Everything is business as usual for the most part.

Attacking/defending flags, shredding fools and helping my teammates however I can with whichever class I have equipped with only the usual Battlefield-exclusive pain in the ass causing me to tilt: an enemy tank dominating a spot that nobody else on my team/squad seems to care about as much as me.

Also, map-flow is a bit hit or miss for me in comparison to past games. I'm not yet sure if I think there's actually something wrong with the map design or if I just need to adjust to the absence of 3D spotting.
