I used to play Spore a lot as a kid and I still love it. The first 4 stages aren't that great but I found the space stage really addictive. The music is really nice and relaxing as well.
Another thing I can think of though it's a genre rather than a specific game is hidden object games. Though I think it might just be that it doesn't get talked about very much rather than actively disliked.
I also really like Sonic Heroes.

I loved the overlord games. I believe they only received like a 6.0 which isn't bad but not good either. I just loved having my little minions slaughter the sheepies or seels if you are playing the 2nd one. I have not played the new overlord's yet.

Yeah, I've played Sarge's War and little of Army Men RTS. I found Sarge's War to a better game in terms of gameplay, but it lacked the charm the other two had. However it's one franchise I would love to see get revived.

most of the issues with the MCC were exclusive to the MCC. some of it stems from the fact each halo game runs on a variation or completely different engine( it was made with in house engines so i don't know exact versions) and the MCC has to be able to get all of the previous games to play nice. Also some of it was from 343 being a bit rushed with it. other issues are unique to the MCC just because when you have a application the size of a game there is gonna be errors that occur. having done some programming in college myself even with small applications errors will occur if different lines or variables come into conflict when running and not in syntax or logic.

I tend to find that most people don't like the "Life is Strange" series and thinks it's pretty bad, but as a secondary school teacher, I love it.

That's really cool. haven't heard anyone else mention the Army men franchise before. ever play other games in the franchise like army men 2 for the game boy, or sarges war, or army men RTS?

For me it was games that were almost good or could have been good...But aliens colonial marines, ME Andromeda, fallout 76, and a couple others I'm no sure are actually considered bad, but I never hear people actually talk about, like the mercenaries franchise. But to explain myself the main game for ACM was horrible, but bug hunt, escape, and its other modes I had alot of fun playing. Though I don't own the game anymore. ME adromeda got hated. But I actually enjoyed some of it, the weapons and powers felt awesome and best shooting of the entire game in my opinion. Just wasn't a good RPG. fallout 76 is mostly the same. not much of a RPG but has some of the best shooting in the franchise.

I played Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City rabidly. Granted I was a bit starved for games at the time, as I live in the middle of nowhere and didn't have internet back then, so the only games I could play were the ones I bought physically, but I found endless fun in playing the story through with different weapon/character combos time after time.

Most Warhammer games, and Mass Effect 3. This was the game that got me into PC gaming big time, and I still have a love for this game, despite recognizing how flawed it is.
I have hundreds of hours in its multiplayer mode and despite hardly having half of the weapons. (thanks EA...) I really enjoyed this game, it also kick started my love of co-op games, which has recently translated to my love of Vermintide 2.

I love Shadow the Edgehog
However it's probably too edgy for most people.
Edit: I also had fun with the Army Men Sarge's Heroes games too, but their controls are really bad.Last edited by Hyperweasle; 12-08-2018, 07:22 AM.

I could see that being the case. I think Microsoft should revive and edit this character as I could see blinx having promise if he was tweaked the right way. I need to pick up an xbox copy some time. IIRC the Xbox One can play it.Originally posted by xerokitsune View PostI considered it quite good but it suffered from a poor difficultly flow. It kinda made sense since it messed with time in the game so it lent into action puzzling. Personally I enjoyed it, but it took some time to get used to the game play.
Also the game was not helped by the main character's weapon being a vacuum cleaner, much like Luigi's Mansion, that doesn't paint the character in a cool light. It doesn't make the game bad, but it hurts the chance of it being a main mascot.

Goat simulator.
Cheesy, clunky, and all other bad things you can think of, but it was fun to mess around with.
Older, there were some terrible Spectrum games that i cant remember their names but that i spent way too long playing them.

How was it as a game overall, would you say?

There are quite a few games that fall into this category for me. I love the Neptunia series yet I know it has a lot of issues with them that would make most of the games considered bad such as the battle system not being playable for most people, the characters and story aren't the best, and there's a lot of times where it gets repetitive but I still play them regardless.
There was also a game called Drakengard 3 that to me, is so bad it's good. The combat flowed terribly, it got repetitive but not Dynasty Warriors repetitive, there were glaring issues such as choppy frame rates, BS happenings that made you die or take a lot of damage and there wasn't anything you could do about it, I could go on. But despite all of that, I felt a good game was in there, it was just held back by all of the issues. Maybe one day it will get remastered and have all of the issues fixed.
