I wouldn't exactly say that Molyneux's track record is bad. He's been part of Dungeon Keeper, Black and White, Fable and Syndicate. I'd say he's one of the greats in gaming. Although he is too good at hyping for his own good.

On topic, I can't really answer as if I like a game I don't consider it bad.I guess some of the more "hipster" choices of mine would be Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae, incredibly fun game. Also Runers. A lot of people are put off by because it looks like dogshit.

Doom 64 was really fun for me. Despite it being considered the worst in the franchise I loved the dark aesthetics and creativity of the level designs both on the military base and in Hell.

Also Skies of Arcadia 2 for the GameCube. JRPG that apparently got bad reviews but I loved the idea of flying a steampunk ship around with your own custom crew and exploring unknown continents. Never understood why people didn't like it.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is another one that I loved despite it being panned as one of the worst Wolfenstein remakes. I think the newest one is the worst honestly though people seem to like it a lot more.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein was good stuff. Was that the one with a sequence on some cable cars in the mountains?

Yeah that's the second level where you escape from the eponymous castle. My favorite area was probably the crypts where you first encounter the zombie warriors. That was scary back in the day.

I really liked that Star Wars: The Phantom Menace game that came out the same year as the movie. There's something about the art style and blocky models that makes it really charming.

Getting over it is really frustrating but it's fun to make that climb with Bennett Foddy
I'm crawling deeper and deeper into backlog hell

Too Human. The death animation isn't a problem if you never die, and once you grind out the best armor, runes, and weapons you rarely do. I do have a soft spot for the Geth in Mass Effect though, and that is what elves were, how they did not get sued is beyond me because they are identical.

I played a lot of Shadow the Hedgehog as a kid and I still think people are too harsh on the game. Yeah nobody sane will say it's a masterpiece and parts of it makes me wonder what kind of monkey coded this but the game isn't that bad. It's just an average one

I really like Alpha Protocol. I think it gets a bad rap. The choices you make in the game have a real impact on later missions. If you like espionage stories, I highly recommend you give it a shot! It can be had for very little money these days.

I liked playing SD Gundam Capsule Fighter until they patched it to oblivion.

                  (> C&C Generals + Zero Hour.
[ I know a lot of people hated this game, but I personally enjoy the single player skirmish mode. ]

                  (> Darksouls 2
[ I will never understand why people love the inferior DS3. DS2 pvp is balanced, magic is actually useful, more fashion souls, etc. ]

                  (> Demigod
[ No one even remembers it, I loved this moba and it was my introduction to mobas. Everyone hated it. ]

(> Warhammer Dawn of War (Not DoW2 or DoW3)
[ I loved this rts game a lot. But I also know a lot of people hated it. ]

                  (> Leviathan: Warships
[ The game died very quick. That made me sad cause I loved it 2 death. The pvp was awesome. ]

                  (> Five Nights at Freddy's
[ Now before I get crucified or called not a real gamer, hear me out first. I only liked the very first game. Only cause it tried to do something different and I found fascinating the idea of being a Guard and watch the monitors for trouble. Then youtubers came, scream fests happen, now everyone hates the game because of memes, even my self lost interest in the sequels because of it. That is why I only love the first one. again, only cause it tried to do something different. ]

89% of my library pretty much. I love Rogue Warrior, Hour of Victory, CoD3, the NARC reboot on PS2, Turning Point Fall of Liberty, Kane and Lynch (both) 2 Worlds. I love a lot of "bad" games and even think they are much better than shill media darlings. (cough BIOSHOCK cough!)
Whatever you love, I probably hate.

Generals is "bad" really?! In my experience, everyone loved it. I was big into Generals and everyone I knew loved Zero Hour; even online.

People liked it? I have only saw negative comments (honest).
Maybe I was in the wrong side of the internet during that time. xD

I hated how the first one ended, they got to an interesting point and "poof" the game was over. I hoped for the second one to pick up right after the first but I think they wanted to do a soft reboot, it wasn't as engaging for me.
