I already have a PS4. Great for single player games but, when it comes to multiplayer games, my chums have both Xbox and PS4, and Xbox ALWAYS wins because of the super-groovy graphics that can melt chocolate.

I actually connect my PC to my projector using the HDMI cable, so I already have the big screen thing going on. And I love it! There's nothing like running away from Michael Myers in DEAD BY DAYLIGHT with a screen that is quite literally my entire bedroom wall!

I would show them up in every way and play Warframe, which as we all know is Destiny's handsome older brother. In all seriousness if it were me I'd definitely get an xbone x. People like to tout the "lack of exclusives" problem but xbox has essentially all of the same multiplayer as Sony and they might have more. Playstation definitely has xbone beat in story mode though.

I got a Steam Link and Steam Controller so I could sit on butt in a recliner in front of the big screen. Turns out my new TV has a fast enough digital engine that you can download Steam Link as an app and run it natively on the TV.

That doesn't answer your question. It's how I leveraged my Gaming PC and PC game collection for living room use. You can even use a mouse an keyboard. I believe you can run Xbox games on the PC though Steam Link this way. Never researched it or tried to do it. Just read it in passing.

As to justifying an Xbox, how badly do you want to play those exclusive titles? Are you OK with being coerced into getting another gaming system because they have a permanent or time limited exclusive? My response to console exclusives has always been "HELL NO". I would really desperately NEED to play a game before I would knuckle under to that sort of gamer unfriendly arm twisting. I am a little "L" libertarian and a full blood capitalist - but I draw the line at content publishers who try to force customers to buy something they don't want. I'm all for them trying to entice me with better performance and sweet deal you can't refuse. They can, however, stuff their cramped prison of a console and its company store ecosystem. "Buy our bowl or no soup for you." Bend over so I can install your bowl...

I guess I just need someone to validate my lack of willpower. It probably doesn't help that I only just purchased a PS4 in the Black Friday sales, as I really wanted to play SPIDER-MAN (which I'm loving) and RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 (which I've not touched yet), It's a damn shame that Microsoft doesn't have the same level of exclusives as Sony, as it would make this decision much easier. I also use a projector which only goes up to 1080p, making 4K completely useless to me.

I'd say if you want it , buy it! But i'm a dirty capitalist cuck. No seriously though, what better reason to get a new toy than wanting to meet up with friends ingame? And I don't even like Xbox, so trust me my advice is honest
