I have once actually attempted to make a game, a N64 style game similar to my favorite game of all time, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, but in a sci fi setting and more mature (not dark and gritty but more like DBZ than Goemon), I made a few N64 style 3D models (in anim8or) and watched tutorials but eventually I lost motivation and stopped.
Thing is I have a whole fictional universe I have been building since the early 2000's, it started as a DBZ fanfiction but has become it's own thing and i technically have a general script for a 5 chapter long game and prequel and sequel ideas, I still come up with new ideas I play out in my head usually when I lie in bed and I'd really love to bring it to live someday, so I need to win the lottery so I can hire a dev team to amke that game, lol.

Gearbox has given the community some hints or BL3 releasing soon. It should be released in 2019, I'm super hyped!

    A couple things:

    - a sequel or successor to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, developed by CD Projekt Red
    - a proper sequel to Jagged Alliance 2
    - another installment in the Commandos franchise, preferably by Mimimi Productions
    - Legend of Grimrock 3
    - another (isometric, turn-based) installment in the Fallout franchise, NOT developed by Bethesda
    - Gothic 4 (the real one)
    - Baldur's Gate 3
    - Crusader: No Repentance (working title)
    - another installment in the Thief franchise, completely disregarding the 2014 reboot

I've had a few proposals written up over the years.

A WW2 FPS played from the German perspective entirely, starting you out with the best equipment on the battlefield and all the advantages. Slowly losing those even as you get more options due to the soldier going from fresh faced to veteran. Ending with utterly inferior equipment, no supplies and all the desperate improvisation barely being enough to hold the line against the Russian advance to let civilians surrender to the allies that aren't Russia.

A MMO set in a science fantasy setting with classes that massively clash mechanically with each other, where the player is represented in plot as a remote operator and their character is actually defined and treated as separate from them. (To the point of actually doing simple quests as a bot in the game while you are offline. Also stealing PSO2's 'friend's character as bot party member' mechanic) With a combat model refined from City of Heroes and Dynasty Warriors in terms of fighting large scale engagements. An example pair of mechanics are that one class's attacks all work on aim boxes, enemy in the box is auto aimed at. Another melee focused class has exactly one resource, that they can only execute one ability at a time. (No cooldowns, no 'mana' equivalent, just that one limit.) Ironically some of the general design ideas for that I've seen being proposed for Anthem. (The whole 'your story, our world' set up.)

A sci-fi capitol ship command game in which the player's direct control is very limited, they have to rely on giving orders to their subordinates, essentially setting behavior routines (and swapping them) that they will follow. Such as 'If an enemy capitol ship is within this range and your hit chance is 80%+, rapid fire until empty'. The general gist of it's story structure was pretty much a retelling of your typical Colony Wars situation, following this singular ship from it's first flight for Earth to it's final stand against pirates in far more 'modern' ships after being part of two major wars. The ship is far more your character than the various captains and officers are.

I'd love to see someone take the Warhammer 40,000 licence and give us a solid survival horror / action game centered on some imperial guardsmen. It'd be the kind of game where one of the most terrifying things is the prospect of a tyranid Hormagaunt getting the jump on you. Taking these 'fodder' enemies and demonstrating how terrifying they really are to the Guard. Think asymmetrical combat in the style of the old Alien Vs Predator titles, where a marine spotting anyone in an open corridor first means they're dead, but going indoors is a terrifying experience, because indoors there's vents for the Aliens and you never know if a cloaked Predator is lying in wait next to the door. The kind of game where a single Ork flash git is a nail bitingly difficult boss fight. Chaos and the space marines aren't involved at all in events except a possible background mention and we're not playing elite soldiers of any kind. The Poor Bloody Infantry basically.

A FPS Rogue Like i am thinking the addictive progession elements of Dead Cells mixed with the break neck combat seen in Doom.

Sadly i dont think that is going to be a thing although it has been said that the next game will involve mutliple planets. So by the sounds of it there will be a lot more to explore in the game making it feel more open.

The game i would love to be made is an Warhammer 40k Orc game. Where you start as a smal orc an go on to become a warboss and then stomp the galaxy and some
stupid hummies to. Just imaging al de gore and the axes. And good old wartracks. Why do they alway's go for those space marines anyway.

I've always wanted a high fantasy CRPG in contemporary setting. (I.E a fantasy world with orcs, elves, dwarfs, halflings, ect in world with Skyscrapers, Cars, Fast Food), GTA meets DnD if you will. That would be my dream game. If I had the talent to make such a game I would.

I've always wanted to see a true first person, open world Pokemon Online RPG with PVP battles and real-time leagues, player controlled gyms etc, loads of scope for that to be a great game if Nintendo wanted to do it.

From watching the current state of the games industry I think a tongue in cheek game where you play the role of the CEO of a AAA studio, the idea of the game is to make the worst decisions you can and alienate your fan base until you destroy the company. You could unlock worse ideas the further you go, I think it would be a fun little cynical game I think would be relevant in today's gaming landscape.

A first person MOBA with warcraft characters, similar to Paragon.

I would like to see a new Mass Effect in the Milky Way before or after Shepard, before Shepard with young Anderson as main character or where you might meet him.
Otherwise a Star Wars game similar to Mass Effect, maybe a KOTOR 3. Also interesting would be a new SW Empire at War or an Empire at War in the Mass Effect universe. Another idea would be a Mass Effect MMORPG or a Total War or an ARPG in the Mass Effect or Star Wars Universe.

I recently watched the Drifters anime and I really want to see that as a game. I really liked the visual style of the show, and the English dub wasn't a horrible one at all. Not sure what kind of game it would be, but I'm feeling an action game like Devil May Cry might work best even though it's not really my kind of game. I actually want to see a new season but apparently that won't be until 2020. Poop

    A sequel to Heretic.

Yes, I know there's already a Heretic sequel, but that doesn't count. I want a fast paced fantasy shooter, not a third person rpg, although both are still good.
