Games You Want to Be Made
Just Curious what kind of games would people like to be seen made, like game ideas you've had but thought would never be made because it was to niche, etc.Tags: None

yeah i have played that its alright but lacking the progression system that is in Dead Cells. its not bad but i am looking for more (maybe ill just have to learn how to code and make it myself!), ive also tryed things like tower of guns and Zigurat. all are good games just missing some core mechanics.

I would like to finally see a good "Conan the Barbarian" rpg, wherein you get to play Conan being his badass self in an open Hyborian world. Graphics and gameplay are good enough to make it happen and we've seen some excellent writing and game design in arpgs like Witcher 3 and Odyssey, so I know it's entirely possible. People keep dancing around the idea or making half-assed mmos in the Conan universe, but it's time we got a properly told rpg for this iconic character.

I think Geist deserves another chance, the Gamecube game may have been incredibly linear and had some clunky fps mechanics but the concept has a ton of potential. You're a specter who can possess people, I would love to see it given another try with better shooting mechanics and with a more open world space. I'm sure they could find innovative ways to prevent it from feeling cheap, as they do in the game itself. Maybe possessing someone drains a portion of your spiritual energy so you can't just spam it.

)> I would KILL for a remaster / imagined / resurrection or anything at all of an Arcade Game called "The Ocean Hunter, Seven Seas Adventure".
)> Advanced / HD / good translation / more abnormalities. Lobotomy Corporation [ I don't want a sequel, even if one is coming soon, I just want the first one refined. ]
)> Remake / remaster / cleaned / refined. E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy [ I liked it and I hated it. Mostly hated it for the bugs, but I can see potential in this game if it was revived or made a sequel. ]
)> Just a sequel of Unholy Heights. [ It's casual? yes. It's fun? HELL YES. ]
)> Remake / remaster / HD / cleaned / refined. Winter Voices [ Sure the game can be played now, but it's still a bit buggy. I honestly like it. ]
)> Remake / re-imagined / AI skirmish / PvP / A GOOD story. Leviathan: Warships [ This game saddens me, so much potential and it died so young. I loved the PvP matches. ]
)> More C&C Games: C&C 5, Generals 2, Red Alert 4, New IP. NOT MADE BY EA.
)> A new Dungeon Keeper. Also NOT MADE BY EA. [ Thank God we have "War for the Overworld" to fill that void, still I wish for a true return of the real Dungeon Keeper. ]

How about a remake of the famous hl2 mod Neotokyo with a new more modern game engine.
Oh wait, I am already working on it!
(No I am not sane

A sports title that expands more on the off the field life of the player. Like having a house and buying stuff for your character. Almost like free roam sports

Have you ever tried Paranautical Activity: Deluxe Atonement Edition? Think Binding of Isaac in the first person with a much faster playstyle. It's on Steam

I don't know... Borderlands is pretty wide and open. There may be instanced areas but as a whole Borderlands is huuuge, and you can totally ignore the story line for a while to go do other things like most other open world games.

Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.
Released a new dlc not long ago (17 / Dec) called Minor Factions. I still haven't tried it yet.

Kojima's Silent Hills. Another real Tomb Raider game, not the uncharted clones, but I don't trust anybody to get it right. Prototype 3. Gravity Rush 3. the last chapter of The Phantom Pain finished by Kojima.

I so badly want Games Workshop to bite the bullet and let someone make a turn-based 40k game with the exact same rules as the tabletop. They need to put in all the armies and units with all the same stats. Have a custom army painter function like Dawn of War but more detailed. I don't care if they aggressively monetise it (like making you pay to unlock each unit or something) they just need to stop beating around the bush and do it. The only reason against it is hurting sales for their minis, which honestly is a valid concern but I feel like people who are into the hobby will continue with it.
A sequel for Sins of a Solar Empire - there are hints and rumours from the developers that they want to make it and may even be working on it. Can't get here fast enough.
I'd like a sequel/spiritual successor to Magic the Gathering: Battlegrounds with a vastly extended roster of spells and possibly allowing more colour combos. Very fun game that was sadly abandoned and I haven't seen anything like it since. They could at least release the DLC that they made for Xbox on PC.

I wouldn't mind another Battle for Middle Earth
I would also like to see more development in VR even though I don't own a headset
