Games like Banner Saga and King of the Dragon Pass

Greetings, nice to meet you all. Very glad that this forum became a thing, good luck!

I´m a big fan of tactical management games such as Banner Saga and the old classic King of the Dragon Pass. It is unfortunately such a niche genre that I´m having hard time finding similar titles. Do you have any good suggestions or info on upcoming titles which might help scratching this particular itch? Turn-based combat preferred.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Of all these I had tried only the Heroes and Final Fantasy tactics, bot of which are indeed excellent. I´ll check all of these out, the Disgaea and the Skyshine´s Bedlam might be the next on my list now Battle Brothers also sounds great, will probably pick it up when I start feeling like the Darkest Dungeon is not ditching out enough unfairness and punishment.

Those 3 should feel very similar to The Banner Saga:

Ash of Gods: Redemption
Tahira: Echoes of the Astral Empire
Skyshine's Bedlam

Into The Breach maybe a little less so, but it should scratch the turn-based combat itch nonetheless.

Can't go wrong with the Heroes of Might & Magic series (1, 2, 3 + Chronicles and 4, I wouldn't bother with the ones not made by New World Computing) either.

For the hard as nails unforgiving and challenging experience I highly recommend Battle Brothers and its recently released Beasts & Exploration expansion.

I can't tell if you simply want more turn based SRPGs or if these games have a particular flavour to them you like.

I feel like throwing out a bunch of names out there but also feel they aren't what you are looking for. Utawarerumono, Disgaea, Armello, Nobunaga's Ambition, Natural Doctrine, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Final Fantasy Tactics, Brigandine of the top of my head. I don't know about incoming titles, very few developers go for this genre outside of mobile where it actually can work (and is saturated I think).
