Undertale is only somewhat interesting if you play pacifist. If you don't, then it's laughably terrible.

Final fantasy really did the trick for me, even though it's really flawed.

I agree, I never finished it. Exploration was pointless to me since every weapon breaks anyway. There was no reason to do sidequests, at least hte ones I did. I mean a20 rupees as a sidequest reward when I had 100x that much? Lack of quality dungeons was the deal breaker for me.

I dislike PayDay2 for many reasons.
Mainly the lies during launch. Now a days everyone loves it.

Not lame, so much as missing out. If you like FPS it is a fantastic game.

First one was great! The rest were catastrophically bad. Especially 2. I don't think I've ever seen a sequel be so terrible compared to its predecessor.

Just FYI - if you ever try Oblivion again in the future, do it with OOO (Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul). It removes the level scaling entirely and makes the world a big and dangerous place. When you leave the sewer and enter the world for the first time, you're a weak level 1 bambi and the world is a big and dangerous place. If the first thing you do is swim across the river and try to explore the ruins you see there what you're going to find is level 10 bandits who will kill you in 1 hit. If you go back there at level 10 they're still level 10 and now you can fight them. If you go back there at level 20 they're still level 10 and you will pwn them. The mod also adds tons of new weapons and spells. I honestly wouldn't even play Oblivion without it anymore.

I'm fairly certain that a part of the fanbase only ape it because it's punishing and just as an excuse to go 'LOL git gud, scrub!'. They are indeed tough games, but I honestly hold no opinion about the gameplay. Dodge-dodge-bonk-dodge-dodge-estus, rinse and repeat, which doesn't really do it for me.

There's a reason I'm a fan of BioWare games pre-Andromeda, because there's dialogue and expo from it which means the Codex is always a nice extra. For Dark Souls, just by playing the game, the story is basically impenetrable and you need to do a lot of reading just to figure out why you're dealing with the crap you're dealing with, the bosses' motivations etc. etc. And sometimes, even then, it doesn't explain things to any real level of satisfaction. *shrug*

Oh my god I don't understand the love for Dark Souls. I have never been so frustrated at a game in my life. I love a good challenge but damn those games are tough.

I really liked the Idea of fighting games . Street Fighter , Tekken etc,,, I bought a ton of generic and Triple A Fighting games thinking ok this will be the one. A few had their moments and playing with friends was always a riot. I just dont think it's my genre.

Never was able to get into the Zelda series... I might enjoy BotW, but don't own a Switch at the moment.

    GTA V

The story was fine enough, I wasn't a fan of switching between three characters (all 3 are on the bottom tier as far as protagonist go), and the online part was just too grindy to enjoy. Also no damn single player DLC, are you serious Rockstar and Take Two? Damn shark cards!
