Sony Unveils New Line of PS4 Controllers
- Four new fall colors.
- New Rose Gold Headset Also Unveiled.
- There are now more than 30 different DS4 types.
Four new DualShock 4 controllers have been added to the growing collection of colors and styles. The new colors are Electric Purple, Red Camouflage, Titanium Blue, and Rose Gold.
The four designs are all relatively unique, but build upon other classic designs. The Electric Purple features a two-tone purple color scheme met with white lettering on the buttons for contrast. The Red Camouflage uses red, black, and brown coloring with silver detailing as an update on the classic camo designs. The Titanium Blue takes the sleek and professional metallic style of the classic titanium and introduces blue coloration with the matte blue backing. Lastly, the Rose Gold puts a subtle rosy hue on the metallic gold, with a pale pink matte back.
Another new edition was the Rose Gold Wireless Headset. The headset has the same color palette as the controller, but features the wireless standard fans have come to expect from the Gold Series of Sony PlayStation Headsets.
All of the controllers will be releasing this September, for $64.99 USD. The headset will be releasing a little later for $99.99 USD.
