‘Soulcalibur VI’ Announces Season Pass 2 and Final Character for Season Pass 1

  • At the EVO 2019 grand finals, Bandai Namco revealed upcoming content for Soulcalibur VI.
  • They announced the final character for Season Pass 1 and the Season Pass 2.
  • Cassandra from Soulcalibur 2 and Samurai Showdown’s Haohmaru.

After not seeing any new announcements following the EVO 2019 Soulcalibur VI finals, fans were surprised to see not one, but two special announcements come from the event’s final day. First, they announced the final character coming as a part of the game’s Season Pass 1: Cassandra Alexandra. First appearing in Soulcalibur 2, Cassandra is the younger sister of Soulcalibur franchise staple Sophitia, and will be released on August 5th.

 

Following this announcement, players were also treated with the reveal of the game’s second Season Pass. This new pass will feature four new characters and their customization options, as the first pass did. The pass will feature one new guest characters who was revealed alongside the pass.

 

Haohmaru of Samurai Showdown, a ronin with a samurai spirit, is coming to Soulcalibur VI. One of the most popular characters from his franchise, the Japanese swordsman is a wandering duelist with a love of sake and combat. No release date was announced for Haohmaru or Season Pass 2.

  2. For some reason I didn’t expect Haohmaru to be in this game. He would fit quite well. SNK characters are getting around it seems.

    Oh great a second season pass just the thing we are desperate to buy.

    • The purchase doesn’t matter at this point, but it shows that Bamco is still willing to support this game → SC6 is too good for the Anthem treatment.
